TOO close for comfort (http://www.spacedaily.com/news/020620121339.dc05vk7l.html)
I wish they would tell us these things BEFORE they get close, not after!
75,000 miles!?

Two within a few months! Hopefully we've used up our close calls for awhile. They keep telling us how rare this is ... and then they keep telling us about these big rocks AFTER they've gone by.
Whew! :?:

Thank goodness that it didn't hit Earth, but I'm glad that they didn't tell us about it in advance. That would have gotten the crazies all riled up and we probably would've had a mass suicide or two. Plus, there's nothing we could've done about it except worry.

1) Well, that article appears to take on an earlier thread dealing in Black Holes wandering into the Earth.
2) Yeeeeeikes! So, basically what these guys are saying is that they were just kicking back looking at and for some really big rocks. Then when the wind of a smaller one thrown in our direction blew their hair around they turn to each other and say: "What was that?" Like you guys said, that's 2 in the very recent past. Perhaps a bit more funding for some more eyes is in order.
3) If I recall, it was Brother Om who informed us of the last one. I'm not so certain that report was received all that well. Maybe this time.......

Yup. (http://www.extremeskins.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1462&highlight=asteroid)
I'll say it again – it ain't if ... it's when.
And, of course, how big.

Stand by for requisite "what, me worry?" responses. :)

I can answer the how big, but I see no need to posts numbers and make anyone here feel bad. As to the "when," we'll have to check with Mrs. Brave on that one.

Er.. certainly wasn't my intention Brave. Sorry.
So apparently you're not in the doghouse with Mrs. Brave for going one on one with the SUV. That's a good thing. And for the totally off topic within the off topic  Brave didn't you get Medal Of Honor and how'd it go?

Too bad it didn't land smack dab in the middle of Baghdad. it would be pretty ironic to have civilization start and end at the same place. just joking........but the thought of a small one hitting there would make the arabs think Allah doesn't love them anymore:laugh: .........getting drunk here:pint:
