That's what I originally thought as well, but I talked with someone from the Vegas League today, and he told me the Wizards send everyone, including Arenas and Jamison. I guess I'll find out next week.

I very much doubt that EG & EJ will make Arenas and Jamison play in the summer league. I know they probably would have to restrain Arenas from playing :D But seriously, what's the upside of making Jamison play in summer league, especially coming off knee surgery.

If I recall correctly from past years, the Wiz were only allowed 3 roster players. Last year it was Blake, Hayes, and Jeffries.

I thought this was gonna be a thread on strippers and gambling. Then I realized what forum this was.

I know Felipe Lopez has agreed to play for the Wiz in the summer league. Best case scenario is he latches on the team like Laron did last summer. Damone Brown is a free agent, but I'd expect to see him play on the summer league team. I'd like to see the Wiz extend invitations to Jawad Williams, Jackie Manuel, Eddie Basden and Sean Banks since none of them were drafted.

Also, Gilchrist has agreed to play with Cleveland in the summer league.

Regardless, I'm pretty damn excited to see my team play out here, summer league/Arenas/Jamison or not.

Dude, take I'll word for it:laugh: . Jamison and Arenas will not be playing in the summer league. They're both NBA All-stars, and All-stars donot play in the summer leagues. Who ever your source is for telling you this is dead wrong and evidently don't know much about the make-up of NBA summer league rosters.


The summer league is geared toward rookie players and younger players that may still need some developing. And haven't been in the league for that long. And the wiz donot send all they're players. Just the players that fit that category I and some others explained.



If Arena's and Jamison were sent to summer-leagues. Then the entire FO needs to be fired.

The whole team will be there but the only ones playing will be blake and brown...they've said that Hayes is on the team but will not play because he is still recovering from his knee injury....the rest of the team might travel with the team so there can be continuity in practice and such plus I'm sure they wouldn't mind a free trip to Vegas

will all be playing. Hayes, as Funky said, is out. Don't know anything about Blake, though. He isn't listed on the roster. Also, nothing about Felipe Lopez being on the roster either.
