Redskins Notes: Police in Anne Arundel County said they have interviewed LaVar Arrington, officially putting a close to any possible link to a shooting Sunday morning at a party the linebacker hosted in Gambrills. Detectives interviewed Arrington for almost an hour Tuesday in Severn, police said. The shooting left a security guard in serious but stable condition. "He [Arrington] came in at our request," Sgt. Shawn Urbas said yesterday. "He was very cooperative. And he provided us with what he knew about the party." The shooting occurred about 100 feet from the 18,000-square-foot home while Arrington was inside. Urbas said no arrests have been made. The security guard, James Sidney, was shot several times and flown to the Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. A hospital spokeswoman said yesterday that Sidney was expected to recover, although she declined to release further details upon the family's request. . . .

Same here, I actually got excited because I am still worried that there is more to his injury than what is public.

I really want to see Lavar on the field this year.

I thought we had one of those "rule" thingies around here about mis-leading thread titles. ;)

Actually, I thought the thread title was perfectly clear, considering the news of late.

Sorry. Somedays we have to be lawyers and somedays we are doctors. I had my lawyer hat on. I'll try to change the thread title.

As long as there are human beings around you can never make a rule preventing f _ _ k ups.

I saw that long jump collision pic a few weeks ago. I never get tired of it.

Look at the guy in the background mouth "OHHH" as he realizes what's about to happen.

I'd also like to say that I'd expect anyone at that level of competition (whatever it is) to have learned NOT TO WALK AROUND ON THE INFIELD DURING A MEET!!

there was no reason for him to arrise suspision in the first place
