Just flipping through the channels wishing I had the NFL network, and I HAVE THE NFL NETWORK!!!!!!!!!!
I have been on Cox about getting it. They had told me they plan on having it by the time the season started. Well, it is here!
Cox Cable subcribers turn to 332 for a taste of heaven!!!!!

I know starting June 30th Cox Cable added the NFL Network to several of their west coast and southern line ups. No idea why they didn't put the NFL network in one of their largest markets to start out with, it's only a matter of time.

Cablevision doesn't have it the bastards!!! They did this with the YES network wtih the Yankees. The first season the yankees were on their I couldn't watch them. And now they are doing it with the NFL Network. I like having Cablevision, I just hate them being the last ones to get the new channels because they try to get every penny they can bleed out of their subdcribers. They wait and wait hoping to get subscribers to pay extra for these channels. They ended up just giving their subscribers the YES Network. I bet they end up just giving us the NFL Network too but they have to wait as long as possible. And they just take time away from me having the channel I want.
Ok, I'm done ranting, for now. :cuss:

I just got off the phone with Cox Cable and they claim that, not only do they NOT have it, but don't know when they will. What's your source?

If you click on the link above, it will tell you that it will be available on 7/14. Of course I've had it for over a year now because I have Directv. That was one of the main reasons why I left dig cable because I thought Cox would never get the station. And Directv is a heck of a lot cheaper with better quality.

Cox here (Rocky Mount, NC) puts all the new/good stuff on the digital channels trying to force you to get digital cable which is a fortune. Yet they have 2 Spanish language channels which in acutuality is a disservice to the migrant workers here. Instead of having to watch the regular channels and learn english, they stay on the spanish channels. Therefore they continue to speak spanish and learn no English.

Edit: Ok, that might have been a little overboard. If you live in the DC area you do not need directv because you can get the skins games. If you live outside the area, it is a must.

I'd like to know too! Everytime I call they don't seem to know anything about it. Here's my newest email, which are becoming increasingly more annoying by the day:
"I've been trying to find out from you guys what our rollout date is for the NFL network and no one seems to know. Since Cox inked the deal, it's been deployed in Orange County, Tucson, San Diego, Cleveland, Omaha, Phoenix, Oklahoma, New England, Gainesville/Ocala, Middle Georgia, Hampton Roads, Louisana, Humboldt, West Texas, and Gulf Coast. I find it hard to believe that Cox Fairfax doesn't know anything. What gives?"

Finally got an email response. They're acting as if Cox Fairfax is an independent cable network able to wheel and deal channels independently of the parent company. When Cox Corp. signs a deal with the NFL Network, seems to me all the local outlets should know what the hell is going on:
