I would like to hear everybody favorite Redskins quotes from either a Redskins Coach or a fan that.
My Favorite is a Quotes my father said to me after they showed a commercial about the body bag game between the eagles and the redskins about 15 years ago. I was only four then but i remember what my father told me when i was mad about that.
He said " Don't Worry Son, there will be a day when there going to have to respect the Washington Redskins". I love that quote everytime the redskins lose i always remeber that saying.
Please give me feedback.

I remember John Madden calling a Redskins game back in 90-91. Gary Clark catches a pass and goes down the sideline for a good pick up.
( Close as I could get to what they said below).
Pat: "You know John, Gary Clark would be a good player for the All-Madden team."
John: "Yeah. Ya see, that's what you do right there. You take ol #84 and go from there."
Another one. I believe in reference to Russ Grimm bleeding after a play.
Pat: "John, that Russ Grimm is a tough player."
John: "Yeah he is a real tough guy Pat. Ya know, that Russ Grimm could play in the 60's, 50's, 70's, whenever. he get's a cut and he just rubs some mud on it."

Wasn't so much a quote...but when I was like 10 and went to a Cowboys/Redskins game at RFK...we were leaving the stadium and we were going down that walkway that goes back and forth...and standing on the walkway above was this big fat guy, drunk as hell and the slogan on his shirt said it all.....
"**** DALLAS!!"
and then as if we all couldn't see it, he repeated it a few times. Good stuff :)

Yeah, even though he stole that from some old Yankee centerfielder, it's still a good quote.

Actually, YOU'RE WRONG. Someone went through the trouble of making her a t-shirt the next day, paraphrasing Riggo, and it said "Loosen up at the Supreme Court." I did a search to get the exact quote before my initial post…

I think its safe to say that there is a little bit of controversy as to what was actually said. And Riggo was so bombed, he probably forgot exactly what he said anyway.

Yeah, Dexter was a great quote machine. A few others from him that I love:
“We can beat anybody, even the Russians if we have to. Mikhail Gorbachev? We can beat him. We can beat Congress.”
“Last year they said Doug Flutie was too short. This year they’ll say Jim McMahon was too tall.” (Said following the Redskins second playoff victory over the Bears in as many years.)

It was the first round of the playoffs against the Vikings, the year after we won our 3rd Super Bowl.
However my favorite qoute would have to be something said by Steve Spurrier to Dan Snyder:
(paraphrased) SS: "Mr. Snyder, I hate saying this, but I admit that I can't adapt to the NFL. So, well, so I'm resigning as the Head Coach of the greatest team in NFL history, the Washington Redskins. Also, I'm sorry that I wasted all of your time and the time of the players and fans that have made this team so great throughout the years."
