He was on with Dave Feldman on Nationals Extra last night talking about the 'Skins. His face was dripping with sweat and at one point before they cut to some clips, you saw him reach for a napkin to wipe himself off. He looked and acted terribly nervous, like he'd never been in front of a camera before, and his analysis was incredibly obvious.
It was possibly the most awkward few minutes of television I'd ever watched, because Dave would ask a question or make a statement, and Dexter would break in with some stuttering analysis, like "Well, yes, Campbell has some athletic potential based on what I've read. Hopefully he can get into camp soon. Yes, yup, well, yes, uh-huh." It was just painful to watch.
Something tells me they won't be inviting Dexter back again.

Ken Harvey and Donny Warren were like that when they first started doing the post-game stuff on Comcast. Dex will improve, he just needs to be in front of the camera a little more.

I did notice that. He was a little jittery.
I am sure he'll improve.

Didn't Dexter have some kind of speech impediment?

Exactly!! Dexter has always sweated, that's just the way he is...he sweats like a heated pig in a meat house. Has nothing to do with drugs:cheers:

As soon as I read the title of this thread I wondered if anyone would comment about Dexter sweating so damn much.
I've never seen anyone sweat so much in my life. I bet he even sweats in the shower.

Dexter wrote about his sweating problem in his autobiography (ok, no jokes here, the book was co-written with someone else but Dexter was able to read and write at this point in his life).
He said he was just a heavy sweater and worse so if he was nervous. He talked about how he hated to fly and he would sweat profusely on the team plane because of his nerves. He said it also didn't help that Russ Grimm would go up to him on the plane and yell "Oh no Dexter, we're going down!". LOL!
