Go early & bring a lawn chair. Establish you own area. Bring something to read while you stand in line.

the earlier you get there, the better choice of location you get obviously. I would also recommend bringing some water or something to drink because it has been getting pretty hot down here lately.

If you want to avoid the beltway, take 695 to 70 North around B-more. In Frederick take 15 over toward Leesburg. Then hit the greenway to Ashburn. May not save you time but if you like open road as oppossed to bumper to bumper this should help.

They sell drinks there but it is exspensive! $3.00 for a coke $2.00 for a water. There is a gas station and food lion right up the road if you want to stop when you get there. Bring a chair, and something for them to autograph if you get the chance and a sharpie. Cameras are allowed but not video cameras. I think that is pretty much it!

Also if you wait about 30 minutes or so after everyone has gone in you will see the bus pull out taking them to the hotel.
