I believe the "U" will take it to the Hokies this year; however, I do have tickets to the Hokies @ WVA game and will cheer for Vtech.

I don't need to put up a clip of the last time Miami came up to Blacksburg do I?
New Miami QB, playing against one of the best D's Tech has had, IN BLACKSBURG?
Miami doesn't have a shot

That is the key. Considering NC State came into our house last year and whipped our o-line with 10 sacks
They can't do that this year though, with the experience of the WR corps, which is going to be sweet.
Too many weapons on the O for Tech. As long as the O-line holds up (which is a big question mark) this will be one of the top 5 offenses in the country.
The Defense and special teams will be very stout as usual

You're nuts if you think Miami is walking out of Lane Stadium with a victory. Especially considering the game will be at night. As a matter of fact, Miami is the least of my concerns this year. Last time they came to Blacksburg we slapped them around and blew them out.

Ha you should def worry abuot the U this year. New QB or not, Santana's little bro is working the split and then they have another moss in the backfield. Last I checked, anyone with a Moss on their back is one scary guy.

VAtech's not even gonna make it out of Charlottesville with a win this year.

Charlottesville? You mean Blacksburg North right? It's a home game for the Hokies considering we have more fans than you do.....at YOUR stadium. Remember the last time a Vick stormed Hooville? Expect nothing less this time.

They play in Charlottesville this year because I was at the game last year in Blacksburg. I worry about the NC State D (coupled with Vick's first start). VT needs a quick start in that game. I also think GT should have beat them last year. We will see!!

Hate to be the one to rain on your parade, but before you claim your second straight championship. Think about what type of talent is going to be lining up in front of you. NC State is returning almost all it there defense, and the new starters are as good as last years starters. GT I don't have to say more than two words Calvin Johnson. The best WR in college football. He is better in real life than in the video game (ncaa 06 check it out). UMD fear the turtle! I remember what happen last year, and you better believe that we are not going to let that happen again. UVA at home is hard to beat, if they can get some WR play. VA Tech won a lot of game last in the last minutes, even against Wake Forest. Look I like M. Vick, but this is his first year, and he is playing in the best conference on the planet. It is going to be to hard to surprise anyone this year, like they did last season. Sorry and yes fear the turtle!

I disagree, this game is a toss up imo. The winner will win the ACC and go on to the Rose Bowl imo.

Yeah, Miami has three pretty good WR's. But Moore and Legget are going to be the starters this year, and that could be a problem for us because they are both tall and fast.

I agree the key to Va Tech's season is the opener against one of the best front four's in college. If they can get past that game it's smooth sailing until the Miami game. Maryland does not have the talent to keep up with Va Tech (But I do like Davis and Jackson). That should be another blowout like last year.
Calvin Johnson is pretty good but he is not the best WR in college football he is not even the best WR in his own conference (Moore) or recruiting class (Jarrett & Ginn)

OK, I do't see your point the girls tricked him by saying the werent under age. Girls look alot older then they are now. He didn't have sex with them so I dont see the big deal.

14 dude, 14. And even if they looked 18, he still supplied them with alcohol.
I'll rephrase.
"You forgot about this man. He is gonna be the best QB in the ACC by season's end."
...when he isn't smoking weed in his car.
That better?

The line on VT has dropped from 5.5 to 3.5. That shows money going to NC State. It will be a close game; Vick must get off to a good start! Go Hokies.

Vick makes no mistakes, thats all I ask
Bring on Duke

I love Carlos, but if Jimmy came out last year I'd want him in B & G.
My take on the game
-Marcus played well with what he was given (Post game said Beamer limited the O for him)
-Imoh and Humes were ok need to do better in the 1st half
-The D didn't look that great. They should have had more CBs on the field I mean NCS had 4 WR's and we were running a 4-4-3 as a base.
-Bring on the Blue Devils!

I like the Hokies chances; they have Miami in Blacksburg and do not have to face FSU (unless it is the ACC Title Game) but they still have to play the games and the are Defending Conference Champions this year unlike last year so teams will be more up for them this season.

WV,GT,UM If we can play them like we did tonight (With better RB play). Then they'll be in Jacksonville.
