I'm just wondering what you guys think the Packers will end up doing this season. I've heard nothing but bad news about their releases and off-season antics this year...but my buddy (whom is a fan of theirs) claims that it wouldn't be a suprise if they went 11-5 or 12-4???
I can't imagine that would happen. I told him that it'd be the biggest team story in the NFL if they did that. What do you guys think? And what do you think their record will be?
My guess is 10-6 again.

There D is pretty bad but they do have Brett Favre. I think it would be one of the biggest if they won 11+ games this year my prediction would be 8-8 depending on schedule and how many miracles Favre pulls out of his ***** this year

In addition to their terrible defense and the advancing age of franchise icon Brett Favre, the offensive line has suffered a few losses that could damper the passing as well as the running game.
I think they are going to struggle in a division with up and coming teams like the Bears and the Lions and the Vikes, who should win the division.

yea their D is horrible and they've lost some of their O-line...so if Favre can make it through the season maybe a 9-7

.....with Farve possessing the ability to make receivers better, they should have spent money on defense three years ago.

I think they'll be fine. There defense was brutal last year, and they still managed to get to 10-6. I'm not sold on Detroit or Chicago like everyone else is..... The Vikes are supposed to make that leap every year, and I'll believe it when i see it.
Also helping out the pack, is their early schedule.
First five games: @ Detroit, Cleveland, Tampa Bay, @ Carolina, New Orleans
The only good/great team is Carolina, and the Packers always play them well (they smoked them on opening night last season)
