Provided he stays healthy this is what I look for him this year. Yea at first look we seemed to not have missed him much last year but I think this is a very wrong assumption.

We all remember what he did against Vick in the preseason game and what he did before he got hurt in the Tampa game. Our Defense was good in every respect last year except in one thing that separate the great Defenses from the downright nasty 85 Bear Ds or the Ratbirds D during the SB year. Turnovers. How do you get the turnovers? Pressure on the line of scrimmage and the QB. Attack RBs just when they get the ball (if not sooner) etc. We lacked that last year. Arrington will give us that. We will have a super hard hitter in him and Taylor with Marcus Washington attacking the ball and that will get us the turnovers that are SOO important. People I think are missing the fact that playmakers like Arrington on a team are the difference between a close game and a lose to a close game and a win.

Now talk about playmakers that is what we were also missing in our WRs last year and we have that this year (but that I guess has been discussed). Arrington is going to create havoc. Just pray only the docs did a good job on his knee.

Are you sure that you are not Gibbs??

But I think taht you are right. Lavar will (if healthy) prove to be that force that we missed last year.

Outside of the two games last season (when he played VERY well) this will be our first look at LA playing on the weak side. I think we'll see him used properly for the first time in his career--more sacks and turnovers.

What do you suppose most quarterbacks will think when they see a VERY determined to prove himself again LaVar Arrington staring at him with bloodlust in his eyes?

I look forward to seeing him crush ShEli Manning

Judgement is reserved until his first rib-cracking hit.
