There was a really good post earlier this week about the bugs attracted to the lights at fedex earlier this week.

It probably is his pet. There's no way it would just sit there for that long unless he's been having it do that since it was just a... hmmmm... what's the word for a baby insect? Is there even one? Not larva, but not full grown.

yep. i was in section 430 near the top and near the lights. The bugs were unbelievable. They were dive bombing us. It was quite something. We kept seeing the praying mantis flying around.

The mantis made it down to section 138 and was on the shoulder of this dude in front of me. His son was sitting next to him, probably about 5 years old or so, and just started screaming and pointing at his dad's shoulder with a big Redskins #1 foam hand that he had on. I was laughing my @ss off. The kid pointing with the foam finger was just hilarious.

That phenomenon actually wigged me out. It was beyond strange. A Praying Mantis as a "pet" that is seemingly chillin' on top of a Steeler's coach (who was that fool?) is a sign of insanity

Anyway, I'm glad we beat them. Of course, the Steelers lackluster offense and our sound defense ceratinly helped...

bugs? Are you kidding me? Last night, my wife and I actually had a bat..yes a freaking bat fly right by us. My wife was a little frightened, but me being the man and all, I hid my fear well.

They were crazy last night!!! The praying mantis though have been there in full force for both preseason games.

Hopefully that is a sign of good luck. ;)

The irony of it all? There was a praying mantis scaling the facade of my building yesterday afternoon. It's relatively minor irony, but irony nonetheless... ;)
