Well, as I stated in my poll 2 weeks ago, the O'line play will significantly determine our team play. I must say, they are getting better. Ramsey had time to throw, we converted on short yardage situations and Dockery is starting to stand out. :applause:

Regarding the team overall, I am hard on Jansen and Arrington. However, I was finally satisfied (mind you, I have not seen the tape yet) with Jansen. I saw him handle the pass rush and play with a little attitude (but again, I need to see the tape to be convinced). Additionally, Lavar played with a good motor. Although he played against the 2nd team and I don't like him as DE, he showed alot of hustle and he made plays. I hope he stays healthy and plays w/ that intensity during the regular season. If he does, he and Marcus will cause major problems for the other team.

What do you think?

Bugels #1 job this week is not let that perfromance get into their heads ;) They need a healthy chip on there shoulders and not revert(sp?) back to old pre madona ways.

O-line looks great...Portis with 6 yards a pop & ZERO sacks.

Our O-line played great,I also like the way are second string O-Line is playing, these guys seem to be getting a grasp of bugels system and that depth will be invaluable during the reg season. :eaglesuck yellow

I'm thinking this line has the personalities on it to not let it go to their heads in a bad way. They can walk away from this one and be proud and feeling like they are building something special. And most assuredly Buges has the personality not to let things go the guys heads. :)

They sucked. We need a new C.

Oops I thought I was in 2004. ;)

They were awesome as they have been all preseason.

That wasn't a good performance. It was a dominant performance. I don't think Ramsey or Brunell even fell to the ground once, and Campbell did once but only after he gunned the ball to the sideline with a guy around his ankles. And the running lanes were HUGE.

I'm ecstatic about the o-line's play. It should be the foundation of our offense and it makes so many other things possible.

I remember the Hogs in the old days. Let me say this: someone's lit a fire under the O'lines' arses. And it makes me wonder if they're not watching old film of the Hogs. They were consistent and it looks like they want to make an impression on the league as one of the best lines in the league. I think they're well on their way. Put it this way, no sacks and all 3 backs totalled around 140 yards rushing. Portis could run where and when he wanted practically the entire time he was in.

It was exciting to watch. And I can't believe I can say I was excited to watch our o'line actually do what they did last night. Sends shivers down my spine.

One thing that makes this line fun to watch is the quality across the board. Any one of the lineman is capable of making a great block either at the point of attack or downfield. There's not one guy always making plays (although dockery sure is becoming a favorite really quick). We can get big yards running left, right, or up the middle. You can watch thomas just manhandle a DT, or you can see him pull and get out in space and level a CB. Same can be seen of any of our lineman. They are all versatile, and that gives us options.

It also means that our line can change it's character so that when betts comes in for portis, we can really run different plays.

The spelling of revert is ok, but the spelling of prima donna (not pre madonna) is not. Also, you don't revert back...that's redundant. Revert implies back. You revert to old prima donna ways.

You and me both, my friend. I wound up hoarse last night, not from the usual imploring the defense to make a stand but from gleefully screaming "Big hole! HUUUGE hole!" all night long.

They played well last night, their best game of the preseason. The line surge was nice to see, RB weren't being touched for a couple of yards. It was funny to see Ramsey stand in the pocket with plenty of time...he almost looked more worried having too much time. I'd love to see Portis take the rushing title this.
