While Redskins and Eagles fans have both good reason to be excited about our indivdual pre-seasons thus far....I just want to remind everyone that these are basically practice games to get the first teams ready for the season while allowing the youngsters a chance to show what they can do. No team has ever been given the Lombardi Trophey in August, so lets all rejoice in our teams accomplishments, but also remember that there is plenty of work left to do.....

lol, that was pretty good. I think most of us are just excited around here, because we are finally seeing our offense develop and progress. You saw our offense last year, already we have done a 180. Hopefully we can keep it up!

As Ramsey said, the win is something to build on, don't pat ourselves on the back too much.

I think it's just great to see some positives in a preseason game. Especially the preseason game that is closest to a regular season game...albeit still far from a real game.

Just so I'm clear ... you're telling us that preseason results don't necessarily accurately forcast what will happen in the regular season?
Cool. I think I've got it.

well, there certainly weren't any loss of critics or haters after the Carolina or Cincinnati games, so why not some hubris after winning a game against a team that is probably better than either of those others? :D
anyone else see ESPN Sportscenter continue to show that touchdown catch by former Redskin Rod Gardner after Week 1 of the preseason?
tell me the continued play there wasn't a dig at the Skins.

I believe nobody gets carried away here. We're just excited to see that finally PR showed us improvement fans have been asking for. So. a litttle of celebration never hurts. :)
You'd better watch out. It'd be no surprise if we beat you this year. ;)
