I'm new to the site but certainly not a new skins fan having been one my entire life. Everytime I have glanced at this site I see these stupid Brunell or Ramsey post. Maybe you guys have just become skins fans last week and did not watch a single skins game last year. It just blows my mind to read a so called skins fan post that they want Brunell on the field. I can honestly say his performance IMO last year week after week was the worst QB performance in Redskin history or at least the last 30 years. It made me sick to try to even watch. How anyone can be so critical of Ramsey is equally mind blowing. Poor guy has not even been wanted since the day he was drafted. Yet has been a MAN about not starting and being treated like **** by the Redskin organization. He is just gonna get pushed out and become the next Trent Green. How about a little respect for the man he has put up with this crap and still trys to go out and perform in almost impossible circumstances. How about some respect for the punishment he took while Spurrier was here getting him killed every play only to get up like a freaking steal robot everytime. Please someone tell me why you would want Brunell leading our team geez root for Campbell to play if you hate ramsey so much but come on lets get REAL Mark Brunell had nearly a whole season to ruin and prove he no longer has what it takes to lead any team to the playoffs and certainly not the superbowl.

Man take a cold shower and calm down.. MB was injured last year, it was obvious, and he is still a Redskin and maybe you need to become a better fan and rally behind both our QB's… Cause if PR goes down, MB is our only hope to make it to the play offs this year!! Have you seen the pre season games?? Have you seen how sharp MB has been? After all he was one of the most accurate passers in this league and you just don’t wake up one morning and SUCK… I understand you may hate MB, but next time take a deep breath than venting over our QB situation. I like what I see out of both of them and I am confident we will make a strong run at the play offs this year.

LOL actually yeah I have seen a play or two... Looks like a replica of last years pre season, almost exact same thing we all saw last year. Mr sharp Brunell throwing a 2 yard pass. He ruined our season last year, it was a discrace, and if he does have to come back in I will be the first to hope and pray he can at least come in and not lose the game for us. We were behind in almost every game last year, and he could not smell a 100yd passing game. Geez a defense pratically gives that to you when leading by 2 or more scores.

Ok should have maybe worded that a little different. Sorry to whom ever that was if it was taken in a bad way. However, I did not plan to come to this site to impress anyone. I just like to read redskin news since I dont get much of it written down here in Fla. Im not here to impress anyone. If you see something I have written but have had a bad first impression dont read it, although I dont plan to post very much anyhow. Look im just tired of losing and feel strongly that last year if not any other we should have at least made the playoffs and would have had not MB started so many games. We were in games that could have and should have been won had it not been for very very poor QB play. Im not starting a post to ask who should start for the hundredth time. I already know that question. I guess it would just be nice to see a little respect and support for our leader for once in his redskin career

Brunell has played himself into the backup QB role. If Ramsey misses some plays for whatever reason, Brunell will step in and run the offense. Brunell, however, will not replace Ramsey. Luckily, the season is almost here and we finally can see how well Ramsey plays for real. I am waiting for the Dallas game because we should beat Chicago at home.

just a few quick things that have been mention, some have not
1. MB was hurt last year. It's very hard to be a quality QB being injured.
2. O line was in shambles and now it's back and it's healthy. Samuels has been looking like a man possed and Jansen is a monster. Not to mention the free agent Center we got.
3. Portis, Gibbs has tweaked the offense and make it more practical for Portis and his speed, not too mention it was his 1st year.
Have faith in both Qb's. They can both play the game and so can the # 3 Qb. When he's ready, he will be the man. Until then # 11 is our man.

It amazes me that despite all of the facts to the contrary, people still blame Brunell for all of the offense's struggles last year. What facts do I refer to?
1. Completely revamped WRs
2. Upgraded line including return of Jansen
3. Changed blocking schemes for running game
4. Mark Brunell injury
But, I am an understanding person, so I also understand when people let emotions get in the way of facts.

I don't understand what you mean when you say "If you see something I have written but have had a bad first impression dont read it". I'm having trouble grasping that logic.
I, as you, believe that PR should be our qb. Has his play to date earned him the unquestionable support of all of our fanbase? I don't think so.

Quite simply, if you haven't watched the preseason games, then you really have no idea how much difference there is in this year and last. Ramsey is still my guy, and I hope he starts the entire 2005 season, but Brunell obviously played injured last year and is now healthy again. It's something you really have to see to understand.

I have seen the games and acutally just got back yesterday from attending the game, as I have season tickets. Its IMO almost as discraseful to see the excuse of injury as a blame for his poor play. It is the NFL people get hurt all the time ... D McNabb plays hurt all the time and still goes to the pro bowl so if its injury was that bad then maybe we all as redskins fans blame the coaches for playing a injured QB. I mean come on could it honestly have been any worse. Again I will say my post was not INTENDED to debate Mark or Patrick and to whom should start, as i agree it seems that it has been debated way too much. I do however have to do a search to find a post to see some respect for Ramsey rather that log on look at the first few post and once again see People calling for Patricks head and to play Brunell.

pilotperk, if you're comparing Brunell's situation to McNabb's situation, you are way off base. There are so many differences between the two scenarios that it's not even funny. In fact, it's so not funny that you made a poor child in war-torn Sudan cry.

Simply making a statement that many QB's in the NFL play hurt and still produce. Not comparing injury to injury nor Brunell to McNabb as I know there is no comparsion to be made of the two by any means of this imaginaion

Pilotperk is right, brunell blows.
Ramsey had the exact same weapons on the O last year as brunell, and did better statistically in less games started.
The use of an injury excuse is lame, and so is brunell.
And BTW, people insult other people on here all the time, including the mods, the only thing thats different is it's not allowed to turn into a flame war.

The problem I will always have with Brunnell is the fact that he managed to get JG to Florida, bend him over a barrel and rape him to the tune of $43,000,000.00. I know it wasnt Brunnell's fault...Anyone of us would've taken it, but I still dont like it.

2 sacks because he was indecisive, 1-2, 2 series, no pts.
Meantime, Brunell puts up 10 pts, throws on a line, lobs to the right spot and should have put up 17 pts if A Brown didn’t drop a pass right in his hands. Actually A Brown dropped a total of 4 passes like that.
