Great player, but it's about time. He should have done this 5 years ago.

boy, I was getting sick of this saga. Each year a new team. Each year being the #4 or #5 receiver hoping to get one more crack at the chance to go to a Super Bowl.
well, he made it in 2002 with the Raiders and actually had a productive season for them that year. he should have retired after that game :)

I agree it's probably been time and congrats to him, but it's more importnant then ever for Art Monk to get into the Hall before he does, or he'll never get in.

There is no effect on the cap for this type of contract.

One of the best ever. Should have retired a few years ago watching someone who was so good for so long just deteriorate is not pleasant.
Congrats, to him though he is a first ballot guy.
