3rd time in 8 seasons QB benched within 2 games

1998: Frerotte yanked in second half of opener vs. Jints by Norv for Trent Green..........start 0-7

2001: Geroge yanked after 2nd game by Marty for Tony Banks........start 0-5 and probably 0-6 if not for an ill-advised Chris Weinke that somehow LaVar has made into a career here

2005: Ramsey essentially yanked.......we're 1-0.......where we go nobody knows.......all I know is that its the playcalling, stupid.........Ramsey started the game at Dallas last year and we scored less pts than we did yesterday......I'd have rather given Ramsey more of a chance but its Gibbs call......but if we are throwing a bunch of WR screens against the Cowboys I'm gonna be one pissed dude!!

We actually scored more points last year with Ramsey against the Cowboys than we did yesterday...

Time will tell and winning solves everything. If Brunell gets the downfield passing game going we win. Brunell manages the game and executes the offense better than Ramsey at this point. If his downfield passing comes into synce, the team excels.
