I hate the way the media fawns over 'em, and the way the commentators -- esp. Summerall -- used to call their former running back "Emmitt" all the time during broadcasts, as though they were best friends.

As far as I'm concerned, back when Landry was coach you had to hate the team but respect the coach and even a fair number of the players. Once Landry left, they ceased being the respected opponent and became evil incarnate.

Also, I have noticed that Dallas spelled backward is "sallad," something which their felonious players must be used to tossing by now. As well as misspelling.

Can I tell you how much I hate Dallas and its even worse now that they somehow always seem to beat us? It used to be it didn't matter how good the teams were comparitively. Either team could win. I still remember Dallas coming in here and beating us when we were 11-0 in 1991. I still think we could have gone undefeated that year if it wasn't for the Cowpokes! They threw a wrench in our plans!

Correct me if I am wrong but My family is from Maryland, and my dad said the Baltimore Colts indeed used to hold the moniker of "America's Team" and he never knew exactly when or why Dallas took it over.

I can't stand the Dallas Cowboys.

This is going to be a close game, and I know their fans are in denial about that. I know they think because they got a big upset in week 1, that it now somehow means they are going to just rip through the Redskins, but the fact still remains we have an Elite Defense. They aren't going to drop insane offensive points on us, it is going to be a tough grind it out game, and the most favorable part of all, is that this is the exact type of game that Drew Bledsoe has failed at over and over and over and over again. This is the type of game where one of the QBs will have to lead his team to victory in the 4th quarter. I am not convinced Brunell can STILL do it, but I know for darn sure Bledsoe has failed at these types of games year after year after year. Also, lets not forget how exactly Dallas beat us last season. That first game, they started out with a GIFT TD, and then later when Gardner's jersey was pulled to slow him up, it goes uncalled, and the second game was won on a prayer. Not that this means we are winning for sure, obviously, but it should knock some sense into Cowboys fans and mediots who think this is going to be some kind of walkover, just because of the upset over the Chargers.
