Starters

QB - Trent Green @ OAK
RB - Shaun Alexander vs. ATL
RB - Ahman Green vs. CLE
WR - Steve Smith vs. NE
WR - Plaxico Burress @ NO
TE - LJ Smith vs. SF
K - Mike Vanderjagt vs. JAX
D - Patriots @ CAR

Bench
QB - Kurt Warner vs. STL
RB - Stephen Davis vs. NE
RB - Larry Johnson @ OAK
RB - Cadillac Williams vs. BUF
WR - Hines Ward @ HOU
WR - Donte Stallworth vs. NYG
TE - Chris Baker vs. MIA
D - Cardinals vs. STL

Now Im having a hard time choosing my RB and WR. Im stacked at RB, but Ahman with only 12 carries last week in a home opener against a Cleveland D that let Rudy Johnson run all over them? No Javon only makes me think Green's gotta get at least 20+ carries no? Caddy and Stephen Davis are up against tough D's and LJ is a tossup. Over the last 6 games, LJ's got 12 TD's - that speaks for itself.

I benched Hines Ward in favor of Burress this week. Thinking Rothy is questionable and even then, Hines Ward didnt score many TD's last season. Burress did decent week 1 maybe he can punch one in again?

I picked up Chris Baker off of waivers this week but still inserted LJ Smith - good move or not?

Thanks again for any help. I'm 0-1 believe it or not and I play my BIGGEST rival this week - my brother. Its a must win folks!!!

I'd stay with Alexander and Green.

Smith and Burress and stay with LJ Smith.

So basically, everything that you had already thought...glad I can help.

I'd be real tempted to play LJ @ Oakland vs. Ahman @ Cleveland. Oakland's D is garbage and even sharing with Priest should have a hella game

I'm going against the grain here and saying you should play LJ over Ahman Green. First of all, I didn't like Ahman to begin with for the season since GB basically gave away their offensive line in the off-season. Plus, with walker out for the season there will be 8 in the box constantly. In general GB is in bad shape. On the other hand, KC can always run the football and Oakland's D is worse than bad. It may not be conventional, but the risk is worth the reward.:dallasuck

Yeah, decisions decisions. Even if you agree with me, that does give me piece of mind so offer any suggestions you may have!

I wonder though, will Vermeil discipline LJ at all for his arrest? Is that going to play a role in how many carries he gets? I assumed home opener, bad Cleveland defense, no Javon Walker they gotta feed Ahman some carries! Yikes, here I am asking you for advice and Im still defending my choices.

On top of that, I never liked the rule of having 2 guys from the same team (QB and RB isnt THAT bad however). Again if I had Manning and Edgerrin I wouldnt be complaining. haha.
