In fairness, it is the Cowboys night, at home, enshrining their three great former players, etc.
But still, they don't need to ballwash while they do it, not to THAT extent. DOesn't help that Irvin is a built-in bias to the show.

What do you expect?
3 of the best players this league has ever seen are being inducted to the Dallas equivalent of the Hall of Fame.

Considering he will be in the HOF, and since everyone here knows how difficult it is to get into the HOF (Art Monk), I think he qualifies.

Y'know,
Considering the offseason "negotiating tactics" Sean Taylor pulled, I'm not real comfortable ragging on Cowboys fans about off-the-field legal troubles, any more.
Here's hoping the Skins just lay off all of the smack talk, show up, and settle it on the field.

Get ready to deal with it.
Because he will be in on the next ballot.
He was thisclose on the first ballot.
Its only a matter of time.

Whatever it was, he won 3 rings and will be in the HOF.
Period. I guess you'll have to deal with that.
And man Bubba, why so riled up?
I mean, I know its game night, but we're all friends here. ;)

so has Monk, better stats across the board, more records, better blocker over all team player
there is no way even the SI factor can get Irvin in over Monk.
nothings a given
not angry stating fact, Irvin on any other team, hewould have been a forgotten Vet by now

Now thats just straight up hatred.
Im not going to turn this into a Monk vs. Irvin thread as I beleive both should and will be in the HOF.
But Irvin will get in quicker. :D ;)

Well, I'm certain Irvin would have got better stats, if he hadn't played against Darrell so many games. That should be worth some brownie points.
(Just like, Emmitt might not have made the HOF if we hadn't laid down for him twice a year for 10 years.)
