Perfect. An inch or two off and those TD's are incomplete passes.
Nice work by Moss. PERFECT throws by Brunell.

They were things of beauty. Amazing plays. Moss is da man!...Brunell's arm is vindicated..

I'm not complaining but he just chucked it up in the air and Moss (with amazing speed) just ran the ball down like a centerfielder in baseball. I love it. Teams all over the NFL do that all the time, I haven't seen the Redskins do that since Rypien to Clark.

Brunell's earlier pass to Moss was short that could have been a TD. Moss was open deep REPEATEDLY. Gibbs needs to stop playing scared so much and trust whatever QB he has in there to make some plays.

he didn't just chuck it up in the air. he threw a timed pass to a receiver. if you just "chuck it up in the air" you get intercepted more than not. you don't do that twice with that kind of precision.
it took both a quarterback and a wide receiver to make that play, err, PLAYS . :helmet:

Moss getting open earlier is why they tried the play that got the 1st TD. Moss suggested the play on the sideline before the 1st TD, and with that our O got going on a 4th down.
Maybe thise will develop a little more trust and more shots downfield.

The first pass had to clear the safety and hit the right spot in the endzone, as the WR arrived at that spot. You do not "just chuck it" there.
The second was the nicest pass thrown by a Washington Redskin in like 14-15 years, IMO. A thing of beauty.

The first pass would have been better if he threw it closer to the sidelines. Any shorter and he would have gotten intercepted. Granted, Brunell was in the zone last night, after about 3 and 3/4 quarters of terrible football. But I won't complain: we won!

If you haven't seen the Redskins do it since Rypien to Clark, must not happen all the time, eh? jk
Yes, they were amazingly perfect. I can't believe people are saying Brunell still isn't the man. Ramsey underthrew those balls all preseason.

Brunell tried a few of those earlier in the game and missed. The difference in my opinion is that the Cowboys were overconfident, lazy and probably a little bit tired at the end. They were good throws, but credit Moss with 75% of it at least.

What a result! Please do not leave it so late next time. I could hardly take the tension of those last 3 minutes! You've made an old fan very happy. Way to go!

I like what Charles Mann said in the post game interviews, basically they abonanded the offense that hadn't produced much all night and the conversation between Brunell and Moss was, "You run as far as you can and I"ll throw it as far as I can".
Haha not sure if that's true but man what a couple of great plays.
