Did anyone notice him Sunday in a pre-game show saying that he was selling the ring to raise funds because he was unhappy with his teammates...saying they could win the SB without him...
Someone had said that it was pure speculation on a sports writer's part:

Looks to me that the sportswriter was correct.
And it's good to see TO do something good even though his motives in using the ring are questionable.

Terrell Owens' NFC championship ring from last season sold for $48,200 in an online auction on eBay last night. The buyer's name was not disclosed.
The Eagles wide receiver announced on his Web site Sept. 6 he would auction his ring and donate the proceeds to Hurricane Katrina relief efforts. When the ring first was put up for auction, online bids reached $400,000. It was then decided bidders should be pre-approved to prevent fraud, ESPN.com reported.
