tech lived up to the hype, they're for real. WVU is young and rebuilding, i thought they played well against a superior team.

Thanks for the words!
White had me worried when he came in, now I kind of know what it was like to face Michael Vick.
The best the rest of the season and the Big East Race.

White was feisty, but I can't believe you used Vick in the same sentence. What's up with the clapping in the shotgun?
VT is going undefeated this year. No better way to end this series with WVU, though I will miss it.

Sorry hokie4redskins, but some of the runs that White made to keep the WVU drives alive kind of reminded me of some of the runs Michael Vick made.
He is not "Michael Vick" but could be a "Poor Man's Michel Vick".

although i am a bit down on the hokie D after this game. i think if White had started, there would have been a completely different gameplan for him the week before. no excuse for the missed tackles though.

Definitley some horrible tackling on our part.
If the boys tackle WVU isn't in this game at all. But thats why WVU has scholarship players, guys who break tackles
Other then that I was very pleased with the performance. Hostile enviornment, a place we struggled in 2003, and hadn't scored an O td on them in 10 quarters. To go in there and stay in control the whole game was very nice to see
And Marcus Vick is riddiculously good, as a QB. Picked apart the WVU D, and has that "swagger" to him (although I could have done without him flicking off the crowd) Other then that he brings "it" to the field every play
This is a special team we have

Nice win for the Hokies. Wish WVU wasn't rebuilding at the skill positions.

White's impact had nothing to do with a lack of game planning for either team- WVU plays both White and Bednarik every game at QB- VT had to be prepared for both.
That's the one real benefit of playing in a 2-QB system- you're ready for an injury to either.
VT played a great game in a tough environment, though. When it's that hyped, Morgantown is one of the tougher places to play in the NCAA, and Vick and the boys showed poise.
The play of the game was the fumbled punt return- WVU had just brought it within 3 (in the 2nd quarter) and forced VT into a 3 and out, punting from their 20, and then all of the sudden the hokies had the ball back. Talk about a momentum killer...

Don't look past UM, even though we'll win.
