What happened?

As i'm looking at our stats...how the heck did we lose? It looks like we shut down their passing game, running game...what the heck happened? I just got back from N. Carolina.

How about taking a look at the turnovers category? Also look at Holmes receiving stats and check out his longest reception. Also look at how many turnovers we got.

Look at the turnover category.


They took a fumble by Cartwright back for a touchdown. And then Holmes took a screen pass for like 68 yards (with some horrendous tackling).

Moss had an incredible game...Clinton STILL cant find the freakin endzone...that is amazing 5 games through the season no TD's. Will he ever get one? Our D has been great...but those long plays just seem to be KILLING us. We cant hang in the NFC east if we give up turnovers and force absolutely none.

That's the thing...so far we've outplayed all 5 opponents (pretty even vs. Dallas actually).

Once we fix the turnovers, we'll be OK. And these are the "fixable" kinds...they're physical mistakes which, to me, are better than mental ones.

I know it's only a moral victory, but I like how we can stand toe-to-toe with some of the good teams in the league whether we're at home or on the road...
