Am I the only one who can see our special teams is poor. You can pencil in a 20 yard return on all kickoffs and a fair catch on all punts that don't roll inside the 10. Talk about being predictable.

Didn' they go out and spend 6 Billion dollars on a bunch of special teamers from around the league and didn't they draft young guys who were suppose to block?

Funny how Chad Morton returns a TD his first week with the GiANTS but he was here for 2 years without returning a TD here in this city. The only guy who might have been able to return a 100 yard kickoff got cut after 1 game this year because he did what Brunell does EVERY game.....fumble.

This organization is screwed up and in disarray. It seems like they are confused and have double standards that apply to some but not to others.

The only pass rusher on the Redskins...and the highest paid player... is on the bench and watches all the action without getting his uniform dirty.

We hear all about the "real smart" football players we have, and yet every week we see stupid penalties kill drives and reverse field position.

As Al Gore said before the first Clinton/Gore election....."everything thats suppose to be up...is DOWN. Everything thats suppose to be down...is UP".

You better find another team. The Skins are not for you. :applause:

Well, I'll take a game where Dante Hall does nothing...

Our return game isn't great, but it's fine...

And Morton returned a kick for a TD here, do some research before ranting.

I agree with the fact that our special teams could be better, but they aren't horrible. They do a respectable job. I just wished Thrash would do something rather than calling fair catch every single punt.

I thought Predictor was banned?

And why do you state in your title your going to talk about special teams and then proceed to talk about LaVar for half the post?

Do you just post threads because you think it's funny to spout this garbage all the time? Or are you really this uninformed about football and think you are being insightful?

Sad if it's #2.....

Thrash had a better kick return and punt return average than D. Hall and holding Hall to 2 yards on his two punt returns is no small feat.

I agree with Brown, maybe it's time for you to find another team to "root" for.

The thing that makes me nervous are those short kick-offs...they're going to come back and haunt us.....I don't believe that they're planning them that way...I don't think that Novak has the leg....I hope that I'm proved wrong......

I heard that before yesterday's game the Redskins were #2 in the NFL at containing kick and punt returns. They kept Dante Hall in a ball and chain yesterday, so we still must be ranked high. If you are going to post at least try to get your facts right.

Special teams coverage and returns are all about net field position. We are doing a better net job returning and covering than our opponents.

The only thing we are not winning is the special teams big play battle. We have given up the ball once and had several kicks blocked. We have blocked one punt and gotten no turnovers. Overall we are winning the ST part of the game.

How did we get from special teams to Brunell fumbling to organizational problems to pass rushing to penalties to Al Gore? :wtf:

Our coverage is excellent and a 20 yard return is nothing to be ashamed of. Granted we haven't broken any for long runs, but at least we're protecting it and getting to about the 30-40.

I remember a time when people bitched about us being predictable all the time. It was Gibbs' first tenure here...

I think some on the board need to relax and enjoy good football.

Man, we lost our starting punter and Kicker and we are still doing O.K. What do some people want?
