Ok we are now 3-2... next week, we should be 4-2
and then we will be singing the Petty number.. 'Free Falling'
10/30 at Giants... I don't see Skins winningthis one with giants getting better
not that good but still better than Skins in NY
11/06 with Eagles... 'We gonna get HeartAche that Night'
11/13 at Tampa... 'We might need Tampoon by then so much bleeding'
11/20 vs Raiders... Norv Turner and Moss.... this game is winnable but I doubt it as coach williams's head is hard as Oak
11/27vs Chargers... we do not even need to get charged for this one... another ex-skin coach will have a good day here
12/4 at Rams... who are our cornerbacks? Jimoh?
12/11 at Cardinals... I can see the skins winning this one
12/18 vs Cowboys... They will bully us
12/24 vs Giants... winnable as it is over here
1/1 at Eagles... WE WILL WIN AS EAGLES WILL HAVE THIRD_STRING PLAYING AND WE WILL END THE SEASON IN A POSITIVE NOTE... NOT BAD

So a 5-game losing streak after our 4-2 start?
I hope not.

Any of the games in our division are winable. Giants, Cowobys and Eagles can go either way. I think we spilit with Giants and Eagles and have a good chance of sweeping the Boys. I don't know if you saw that Giants/Cowboy game, but it was one of the ugliest games ever. There was like 8 turnovers. As I said before, Giants are a different team on the road and the cowboys showed they have no running game (Julius Jones is injured right now) and their secondary is suspect and the giants are ranked last in defense. The eagles will be unknown but as long as McNabb is hurting, so will their team. They are not running the ball either.
The raiders game is winable as well as Arizona. The toughest two games remaining will be Tampa and San Diego. I see us ay 9-7 or 10-6 and hopefully the wild card.

according to your outcome the skins will go 8-8...which might actually win a wild card spot in the NFC. But I think we'll do better than that...9-7 at least. I think we'll really go 10-6 though, we've lost 2 already, and we'll lose 4 more. One to the eagles, giants, chargers, and cowboys. Tampa Bay isn't a good team, we should def. beat them. Oakland will have lost so many games by the time we play them that their confidense will be completely shot.

I think we should just revoke your posting privelages, how can you say this....ok, here's my argument.....
1. Giants got beat by Dallas yesterday, DALLAS, they only scored 13 points against a defense that we scored on 2 times within 4 min (yes out of desperation) but Brunell also led the league in passing this past week, so we have opened up this offense....
2. McNabb is playing hurt and so far the Falcons and Cowboys have shown how to beat this team, this game is VERY winable.
3. Tampa Bay looks very solid, but Caddy over there is playing hurt, and we just stopped possibly the BEST RB in the league this past weekend, so we have the ability to stop him. ALSO, if you look at the track record, the Skins and Bucs ALWAYS have a good game, very tough, defensive struggle, and i know we can beat them.
4. The Raiders have Randy Moss, ok...Shawn Springs will have 4 weeks to recover by then and i'm sure hes gonna be eager to get back out there and have a good game.
5. Chargers may be one of the most underatted teams in the league when LT gets the ball, but he doenst always get the ball, and if you have been watching the games, as i stated about the Tampa game, we have a pretty good run defense...
6. The Rams are going to be tough but hopefully by this time we can get our pass rush together and get pressure on bulger
7. The Cardinals might be a tough game if we cant control their WR's but i feel we can and we can beat thier defense, we can DEFINATELY win this game.
8. NOW is when it gets really interesting because we have 3 divisional games, all agains different teams to round out the season. If there is playoff race, be ready for some GREAT football, we can beat dallas as we have proven, plus we will be at home and you know FedEx is going to be crazy
9. The Giants, once again i think we can beat them, if we can contain Tiki, we should be good.
10, Philly, this is probably going to be the toughest game out of all of them because i feel, the way philly is playing, they might not be in the playoff race, therefore they are going to be tryin to ruin some teams chances, or they might be goin for a wild card.j
I PERSONALLY feel we have the ABILITY to win any of these games, will we...probably not but you never know. from where we stand now, i say we go 10-6 because these last two games are probably the hardest back to back games we have.

Next Sunday:
San Diego at Philadelphia
San Francisco at Washington
Dallas at Seattle
Denver at N.Y. Giants
The NFC East could (should?) look like this:
Redskins 4-2
Cowboys 4-3
Giants 3-3
Eagles 3-3
The Sunday after next:
Arizona at Dallas
Washington at N.Y. Giants
Philadelphia at Denver
The NFC East could (should?) look like this:
Redskins 5-2
Cowboys 5-3
Giants 3-4
Eagles 3-4
I'd be happy with that...

Wow, 3 bad plays in the last 2 games and we have some people jumping ship already on G. Williams. Take some relaxers or something. Our defense only gave up 21 points against a top offensive team.
I won't be too derogative, but how pessimistic can you be? We are playing better than any team in our division. I have Eagles fan's in my office telling me they are worried about playing us this year. We can beat ANYONE w/o these mistakes. These are mistakes that we can correct. We were missing a couple very important players this past week and for a small part of the Denver game (no I was not talking about L___r). Those 3 big plays killed us in the past 2 games. We cut those out, we are fine.
Go re-evaluate your comments about Williams before you post again.

Get off my board :) Have some faith but we are improving every week. Once the turnovers are taken care care and tackling skills are increased we have a chance against any team. According to your predictions we might as well all become Eagle fans. Have some faith in OUR team!

I think 4-1 over our next 5 games, including SF is well within reach. All three home games are winnable. We should be able to beat either the Giants or the Bucs and will need to beat both of them if we drop one of the home games. This can be done! None of those teams is better than the Redskins.

the skins are only 5 games into their second season with gibbs...with all the improvements they have made on offense this team can easily compete with anyone.

You left out a few factors. The Giants, Raiders, Chargers, and Rams all have HORRIBLE defenses. The way our offense has looked lately we should be able to control the ball easily agaist these teams. The only way that we go under .500 this year is if our turnover problems continue. I think we will start to do better in this area as we are focusing on it. I think we win 10 games this year.

We lost two very close games to teams that were suppost to blow us out. I had hoped for a split, but those two stadiums are probably among the top 3-4 hardest places to win in this league. We are so good that we almost beat denver and k.c. DISPITE the turnover ratio. I look for some good wins in the next month. HTTR

I have to give kudos to all you optimists. Some will say I'm a pessimist but I like to think I'm a realist. Considering the way we play (turnovers, big play mistakes) we will be lucky to get to 9-7. 8-8 is about the best we can really expect. And for those of you who are the eternal optimists, 8-8 aint making the playoffs this year. Of course this all can change if the coaching staff makes some personnel changes. Not likely. Enjoy the ride fellas.

I wish we had real knowledgable football fans here on this board. All I am reading is outlandish posts about the Skins being 5-1 over the next 6 games or beating everybody in sight while the Cowboys and Giants and Eagles lose all their games. Thats a nice fantasy but most experts pick the Skins to finish LAST in the division, and these are the same experts who predicted the Broncos would beat the Skins and the Chiefs would beat the Skins.
If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck....well it must be the Redskins.
The Redskins have no pass rush and Drew Bledsoe has proven he can throw the ball, McNabb will have a field day against the Skins.....and Manning..well, Manning will surgically remove the Skins gall bladder. Without a pass rush this defense will continue
to give up big plays and continue to be a day late and a dollar short. You homers need to realize that just shouting mantras "Redskins rule" doesn't make it so. This team turns the ball over EVERY single week. The proof is in the pudding.

Hey...another "Predictor" post bashing the Redskins 3-2. BTW, those are your same experts that had the REdskins going 4-12 this year (Dr. Z.) Your knowledge of football is what I would have to question here. "Drew has proven he can throw" and also lose at home to Washington. Manning will surgically remove the skins gall bladder" Exactly what has he done against solid defenses this year (oh thats right, he hasn't played any yet, outside of the Cowboys, and he really lit them up) I think you just may be a troll here....i mean..if it quacks like a duck....well you know the rest

The fact is noone knows how this will play out. If our D can give our offense so good field position so we dont have to go 80 yards every drive we will be better. Also we need to improve our tackling so we dont let up big plays. Noone can predict how it will play out, but I think we could beat the giants twice, eagles will be tough because westbrook is one guy that is tough to tackle on screens (and eagles love screens). I think dallas at home should be a win because they are coming to our house. Those 5 games are huge and we need to win at least 3.

Great prediction and assessment... I must say that my preseason picks for the skins are panning out just as planned...
At this point I had us at 3-2 losing to Denver and KC convincingly.
Ok, the only differnece is now we are 3-2 losing to KC and Denver ~KNOWING THAT WE SHOULD HAVE WON THOSE GAMES!!~
No intelligent person in their right mind can say that Dallas or NY are clear better teams than us. Dallas lost to Oakland, and the Giants lost to Dallas! We lost to Denver who's only lost was to Miami the first game of the season, and to KC who lost games to Denver and Philly. If Dallas or NYwent to Denver or KC they would get spanked! The only reason Philly won is because the Cheifs gave them the game . We made it close both games on the road and the reason we lost in KC is because the Cheifs had the benefit of the bye after the upset by Philly (it was a must win for them after that lost).
Even Denver's John Lynch said (referring to the skins)
" Those guys are forreal"
Surprisingly he didnt say that about any other team that they beat or lost to..
At the end of the season Skins (12-4 ) with losses to philly at philly and at the Rams.
Any other loss would be inconceivable.
We are built to beat NFC Teams!! :eaglesuck :gaintsuck :dallasuck

exactly we were competing last year and that got us 6-10. now we are dominating the stats and still losing. i just want to win regardless.
this stretch including the 49ers will be the meat and potatoes of the season. competing or not we got to win the majority of these games if we want to get in the playoffs. we are going to be playing a lot of playmakers and we have to stop them for 60 minutes b/c 1-2 big plays can be the difference in the game.
