CommonCensus is as you would expect, an online census project. More interesting to Extremeskins members is their Sports Map project. Below is a map from their site showing the geographic areas where each team has a predominance of fan affiliation. Now, its based on 2,500 votes. I think its time to unleash the Extremeskins Horde and change the map up a little bit. :D
Note that the map doesnt show the proportions of votes within each colored block, nor does it illustrate density, so its not particularly indicative of overall support.
BTW, if you notice, we essentially own all of Ravens territory. :D
Go here to start:

As for the overall # of votes, we are currently 6th: (Im sure they dont update that in realtime).

those that made the map haven't done their research, so i wouldn't put too much stock in this. since i'm a west coaster, i noticed immediately there isn't any raider section. raiders hold much more of a fan base in california than do the 49ers.
also, there isn't any cardinals territory. yea, i know. they stink, but arizona still cheers for the cards - certainly not the chargers.
what's up with the packers fans in mississippi and alabama? is that simply due to the fact that brett is from mississippi?

Its not a matter of doing research. That map is based on people going to the site. They enter their address, and then among other things, their favorite sports team. In a given area, the color indicates the team with the most votes.
And the Packers thing, I'd say yes. You know whats freaky? If you look at the MLB map, There's a big area of Cubs fans in New Mexico. The only thing I can think of is that the Manhattan project was based in Chicago for awhile (Fermilab), and a bunch of those guys wound up in Los Alamos. Wacky stuff.

It could be that Raiders fans are not smart enough to operate computers.

BTW, the vote totals from the first post (last link), seem to update on the fly, or at least every once in awhile, because we are now tied with the Packers (203 votes).
