durring the pats/bills game he said "there should be a 25 second play clock inside the last two minutes".

If your behind your gonna be rushing your plays anyways so that clock wont effect you, if your behind and they have the ball they cant just sit on it.

I think its a neat idea

That's actually a pretty good idea, lets face it at least half the games get real interesting during the 2 minute drill.

its no big deal if you are trying to win the game, but it sucks if you're trying to run out the clock.

I disagree I would wager that it would be a split between the deserved and the undeserved.

The current clock kills alot of time, but the reduced clock makes end game situations tighter.

I'll go beyond that and say if a team can't run out the clock with out making a first down they are not the better team & don't deserve to win. It's a great idea, makes the team actually play for their win instead of the snap&kneel drill which is totally lame. More importantly it would be great for the game.

I like it. There is nothing worse that the winning team having the ball with a minute and a half left and just kneeling all the way to the end of the game... It would make the games exciting all the way to the end, I don't see how it would be of detriment to football in any way, in fact, it could only help.

Why reward coaches who can't save their timeouts? Timeouts are a part of the game, and its your loss if you have a penchant for spending them unwisely on reviews, or your offense doesn't have it all together and wastes them coz the playclock is about to run out.

I like the college rule of stopping the clock on first downs until the ball is reset. That would give the offense more time even if they don't have timeouts. Why should a team be penalized for the time it takes the refs to get the ball spotted?
