There is a huge difference in 4-5, 5-4, 6-3. Despite playing piss-poor yesterday (it happens... see NE vs San Diego) the season is still very very young. If we win in front of a crazy Fed Ex crowd Sunday then take one from Tampa Bay, we are in the drivers seat I believe for a wildcard and still very much in the thick of the division. We cant afford to play well in one game them drop the other. We have to have both of these games. So throw the Giants game in the back of your mind, and find it in you to get pumped about the next 2 weeks, because a good stretch of two games will make this game seem like it happened years ago. Philly and TB are both very beatable!

Tampa bay is a win. It doesn't really matter how bad we're playing we'll beat them. If we beat the eagles I will be shocked, amazed, and all sorts of other good stuff.

we have to win one of these next two games looking at our schedule, if we win at least one of these two games, we can be 6-4 getting ready to play San Diego
Nov.6 vs. Eagles
Nov.13 @ Bucs
Nov.20 vs. Raiders
Nov.27 vs. Chargers
if we can win at least two of those games, vs. TB, and Raiders we will be 6-4 getting ready to play San Diego and in a good position for a wild card or playoff spot. But if we can beat the Bucs like we did last year, and handle our business vs. The Eagles, we will be 7-3 getting ready to play the Chargers and possibly at the top of the NFC. We really need to satrt winning these games, and being a consistent good team

The Eagles is the big one. If we get that, we are poised to roll through Tampa to 6-3. As we have learned, no game is a easy win so dont be so sure NY wins both of their games leaving us back on top. However, it all must start with Phily...Skins fans must bring their A game and be as Bush League as possible on Sunday.

10-6 is probably going to be needed to grab the wild card. 11-5 or 12-4 to win the division. The Giants have played the tougher AFC West teams, they have a game in hand on us and have a better record. They have the 9ers and Vikings up next. If they get on a roll you can forget about it. Then we have to take a spot from Dallas, Tampa, St. Louis, Carolina, Philly. Seeing as how we play St. Louis and Tampa. If we win both of those on the road (we are not a good road team) That will leave us battling it out with Carolina, Dallas, Philly and NY for two spots. We basically have to win out against the NFC the rest of the way to make the playoffs. One more NFC loss is pretty much going to close us out.
All this being said. We have to hope that that Giants game on Christmas Eve is for first place. If it isn't then we are in a world of hurt.

absolutely. look at our schedule after the eagles game.....we dont play an NFC East team again for another month....these games are not THE most important b/c even at 4-5 we can steal a wild card spot. The important thing is to get 1 of them preferably THIS WEEKEND. We are 7-23 against current NFC East teams since 2000. To make the playoffs we MUST win 4 NFC East games, something we haven't in a long long time (3-3 v. eagles, cowgirls, gints in '99).
