Guys, this is a bad Oakland team taking it to us on defense today and we have the same problems since week 1. We turn the ball over too frequently and we give up the big play multiple times in a game.
There is no way this is a playoff team.

We play down to our oppenents every game, which is why I am starting to think we will not make the playoffs. We need to learn to put away teams, which we can not do.

there's a shot. at this point, no one can deny the problems we have getting to the QB, including the coaches, which makes me think there's always a chance that we'll improve.
that lavar play was unbelievable.

You hit the "nail" on the had man. We turn the ball over too much. Make waaay to many stupid penalties, and can't get what even "resembles" a pass rush.

Lets face it, that 3-0 start was fools gold. This team is regressing very badly. I hate saying this, but we right now have, at best, a 7-9 team. First we lose to a second year QB who has never won, and now we're struggling with a very bad 2-5 team at home.
I'm sure some will try to put a positive spin on it all, but try to save us the laughter.

the OFFENSE is regressing, the D stepped up today, very well, aside from no pressure on the qb.

Can somebody please explain to me how in the world we can GO TO Tampa Bay last weekend, who has the NUMBER 1 defense in the league, and score 28 points, and gain 400 yards.
AND THEN COME OUT HERE TODAY AND STINK UP THE JOINT WITH THIS ABSOLUTELY ATROCIOUS OFFENSIVE SHOWING AT HOME AGAINST ONE OF THE WORST DEFENSES IN THE LEAGUE????!!!!!

It's quite simple actually, that is what a team that has lost four of its last six games does. Even if we win today we are still a year a way from the playoffs I think.

A year away? We're a couple of years away.

More than likely several years away, possibly three years away...why?...because NY has a franchise Qb and the Eagles do as well....now we have to wait and see if Jason C can do something.

After this loss, I don't think we hav eto worry about the playoffs.
But on the bright side, we are in nearly every game, which is an imporvement over last year.
But if we don't address the D in this years draft, I'm gonna shoot myself

This was the year because Philly had all the TO issues, next year they will be better as will NY and Dallas, the question is will we?

we were in nearly every game last season too.

Turnovers, Turnovers and more turnovers. This team is schizoid. Our secondary got picked apart to boot by Kerry in the second half.
Brunell had been good I think up to this game on offense. But carrying the ball like a dirty diaper has cost us at least 3 times this year.
And what was the point of the home field advantage??? We suck so bad. We played lethargic today...like that game last week took it all out of us.
No playoffs this year guys and gals. Just being realistic. We are too inconsistent on both sides of the ball. And without a pass rush we have nothing.
Now we can just play spoilers. We would have to win every single game left to go to the playoffs. It ain't happening!

After this loss I have to agree we are not going to be in the playoffs. Really this team is no different than last years team except with a slightly improved offense and a slightly worse defense. We probably won't win again until we face Arizona and the Giants and Cowboys should pull away from us and the Eagles. Plus the NFC South is playing really well and are pretty much guaranteed at least 1 of the wild card spots.

This is an exaggeration - our D played great today. They had one score that was a gift from OUR offense on a turnover by Portis (a field goal). Other than that, they didnt' do much and we shut down Moss. Our offense lost the game today, not our defense.

The defense stepped up? I understand the Skins had one touchdown on defense, but the defense was awful. No pass rush, poor coverage, and poor scheme which equates to 13 points in the second half and a Skins loss.

The Redskins need to learn to play consistently on both sides of the ball. I hate to say it guys, but this season is over. A playoff team DOES NOT lose to a losing team AT HOME. Today was the nail in the coffin. I wish I could be more positve, I really do. But how do you go out and give practically a his rookie quarterback first win on the road, and then come back to your house and get beat by a losing team????? This is unheard of. This team has been teasing us for so long now, they need to come out and show us why they should be respected throughout the league.

For crying out loud, this defense did not play great today.
