we are 5-5 with 6 games left, and it happens. every team losses to a sucky team like the radiers. we just got ours today. The giants had theirs last week against the vikings. This team has to keep its head up. This season is far from over.

I usually don't post like this, but after watching today and our stagnant offense, this is the end of the road for us. Sure we will probably pick up a few more wins, but all we will be playing for now is pride. From Brunell to the tackles, tight ends, fumbles, etc. We are still a ways away from being contenders, we have def. gone in a positive direction from the last couple of seasons, but we are still a work in progress. I can only hope we can draft some Dline help or pick up somebody in free agency. I hope Campbell is ready as well, I like Brunell, but has cost us just as many games if not more than he has won us. Next year will be better. I am not a fair weather fan, just trying to be a realistic one.

We had no heart today. The skins are now done. We don't deserve any playoff talk or anything the rest of the year. I predict we will only three more games this year and give the Broncos a great pick.

We're two games out of the wildcard spot with 6 games left. That's a HUGE load to overcome. We'll need to win five of the last six and tell me which five we win? Especially the way we played today. I've lived and died with this team for 27 seasons and have never lost the hunger to see them play each Sunday no matter how bad they were. I'm afraid I've finnaly maxed out my nine lives. I can't bear to watch this ship sink any longer. I avoided sports channels on the radio and TV all week over being SO bitter from last week. I wanted to watch today thinking we could redeem ourselves. We lost to a bad team today and it seems like every team we play now has to have a sidebar storyline "Giants win for Mara", "Chris Simms breaks out", "Norv beats his old team", blah, blah, blah. Now next week we have to deal with the Marty love fest from the annuncers. I hate what this team makes me feel like. I almost enjoy the offseason and the anticipation even more than the regular season.

You can make all of the excuses you want, you can blame anyone you want - the refs, the coaches, the quarterback - but it is a team effort to lose 5 of the last 7.
Good teams find ways to win games, bad teams find ways to lose them.
We are a bad team. Thats the bottom line.

I have absolutely had it with this team. They completely stink all the way around. Horrible coaching, play calling, players, execution, all of it stinks. Lets throw to Taylor Jacobs every other play on a go route down the left side when he is blanketed with coverage. Excellent calls coach. Some will say our defense played well only give up 16 to a good offense, BS. We left Jordan and the other running backs wide open on every play. We let Gabriel run down the sideline completely by himself for a huge gain. Ive tried my hardest every year to stick with them and look at the bright side but I have had it. What a miserable team all the way around.

If I remember correctly, we do have six games to play.
Yes, we probably aren't going to the playoffs. That being said, we are not eliminated from the playoffs, and we still have stuff to play for. While this is disappointing, I have accepted weeks ago that this isn't a playoff team, and that we'd be fortunate to be in the playoffs.
So, let's be thankful that we are 5-5 at this point, and that we only need a couple of victories to improve from last year.

This team is mired in mediocrity. The best we can hope for at this point is a few more wins - like you said probably 8-8 at best.
The big problems? Too many turnovers (every game they abound), the pass rush is among the worst I've seen as a Skin fan - it's amazing the defense is as good as it is when the rush is SOOOOO bad, and the playing not to lose mentality - the scared mentality that seems to come from the top down unfortunately.

the way I see it is that we need to win 5 or 6 of our last 6 games to have any chance to get in to the playoffs. I will hope for the best but the losses this week and last really hurt our chances of getting in.

This is so sickening to watch. The Raiders have a horrible defense and all we can do is muster up 13 points!! I agree. The way the Cowboys and Giants are playing we're finished. I don't see us running the table. I think we'll finish 9-7 but that won't get us in. We had to beat the Raiders, there's no excuse.

This was a joke. I cannot believe this is the same team we have watched all year. Oh yeah, the Giants. Well, we blew it. The Giants and Cowboys have won today which have basically shut us out of the playoffs. Clinton Portis had the nerve to chastise the turnovers last week, and was the biggest problem today.
No offensive touchdown. How in the hell do you not score a touchdown against the f'n Raiders?? We have seen the real Redskins, I do not believe that Brunell is going to make it from hear on out. Trust me. He looked horrible, the defensive line was embarrased and the secondary was scorched again. Do we even have a defensive line? They are pittifull as well. Don't tell me the Raiders were a good football team Joe, they aren't. Your team sucks, they didn't show up, this was the biggest game of the season due to your other losses that shouldn't have happened.
I think the worst thing is, we have enlightend all the neysayers that didn't believe we were for real and we would falter. We are faltered, and bad. When a 3-6 football team can figure out how to beat you and do, well the season is over.
I look forward to everyone of you scorching me for this post, saying I am not a real fan, boo hoo boo hoo. I call it like I see it, and we were beat by a losing team who has no respect in the NFL. So you can kiss my rear end, this team now sucks, and there will be no team respecting the Redskins from this day on. The Chargers will kick this teams ass, and if anyone wants to wager this, email me.

You gotta believe though...haha...the only thing you can believe is that the Skins are WAY overrated and have no idea how to execute on either side of the ball. Funny how everyone was on the Brunell bandwagon when most new he wasn't going to keep it up, and how everyone was saying that LaVar was a selfish player. Well, I think now we can agree that LaVar is definately LaVar and Brunell is done and so is LaVar's stay in Washington due to paying "BOO" nell that stupid ***** contract. Oh, you can thank Brunell for Smoot being in Minny and Pierce being in NY too. Can't sign your "core" Skins when you're overpaying a has-been QB

This loss was pretty pathetic, especially considering Norv's teams had the reputation of losing close games.
This is getting really sad, and yes, the season is over. We're not running the table, and anything higher than 9-7 is unrealistic at this point.

I don't think people are jumping off the bandwagon. Like I said I've never left this team in 27 years and don't plan to now. I just get sick of watching disappointing performances year after year after year but it hurts worse this year more than ever. Just because people aren't going "rah rah guys! We can do it" doesn't mean people are bailing. They just get sick of seeing the same crap for 13 years now. My nerves are shot after games like this and I feel like garbage for 3-4 days after losses like this. I can't get the most out of my job and my life when I'm moping around over a stupid game. This is why I get sick of being disappointed and would feel better on my nerves if today was just January 5th and it all be over.

1)Playoff teams don't continually committ turnovers game after game...
2)playoff teams play to win the game, not play not to lose...
3)playoff teams make adjustments to whatever or whenever a problem presents itself, even if it means making changes in the lineup (offense or defense) in the GAME!!Not 2,3 or 8 weeks later...
4)Playoff teams find a way to win the Game, regardless of the circumstances...
5)Playoff teams don't yank their probowler off the field on a regular basis and every game on third down situatuations unless there is an excellent reason to do so,or to prevent further injury or whatever...
6)playoff teams don't committ stupid penalties that can hurt the team on the field for personal gain...
7)Playoff teams USE their challenges...Specially,when there are critical plays or situations that can possibly change the momentum of the game...
8)Playoff teams play consistent football! Not a good game here, bad game there, good game here and so on...
9)Playoff teams also take chances...sometimes a huge risk is required to have great reward...!(see reason #2)
10)Playoff teams actually win enough games to make the playoffs. Usually at least 9 wins, but sometimes requires 10 wins as well...!
I sure glad for Gibbs sake, these are not the 10 Commandments...He would be in trouble!
I am very angry and very disappointed in this team!!

That may actually be true, Instead of developing a young Franchise QB, other teams in our divison and league will be doing. The Giants and Eagles do, and im sure the Cowboys will have one soon as well. We better pray that Campbell is that answer, cause your right e may not make it for a while.

Bet the Kool Aid bucket is getting dry.
Come out on every who thinks there is still a chance.
This is not a good football team.
It is a team that lives on heroics making up for its mistakes.
If the mistakes were not made then there would not be the need for Heroics.
This is not a playoff team, hell this is not even a team that will win the division.
To all the pepole who really think all the fumbles, the throw aways's, the giving up of big plays is going to just disappear I say drink a little deeper in from the Kool Aid barrell.

This is today's Joe Gibbs football.
It is up to him to change the atmosphere and attitude of the team... I don't like hearing "We can beat anybody and anybody can beat us". I don't like seeing him kneeling over with his eyes closed, as if we can't make a big play. And I don't like punting it on 4th and inches. We would have converted on 4th down. If you don't believe we would have, then you are part of the problem of the new Joe Gibbs football. NO CONFIDENCE. I believe in Gibbs and I think he can turn it around. But it all starts with him opening his eyes during field goals, expecting to win and not hoping for breaks, and getting "crazy" when it comes to play-calling every once in a while. Just another lesson for Joe in his return. He knows how to win and he will be the guy to get it done. He will get back to Old Joe Gibbs football, and when he does, we will start winning by 14+ points to teams that are awful such as Oakland and Tampa Bay.

This team is what Joe Gibbs has said each week. They are not that good or that bad. Granted today leaned towards the bad. I tend to be in the middle here. Those of you who claim that we are a playoff bound team need to pump the brakes. Playoff teams dont come out and fall apart as we didi today on BOTH sides of the line. (I mean really im gonna send a resume over to Redskins park. I can not block the defenders with the best of them.) But those of you who keep saying that we totally suck are wrong. I too am disgusted when he dosen't even have the stomache to watch a play, what is with closing your eyes?? My god act like you are better than someone and you expect to win, this down on your knees with your eyes closed stuff is getting old.
Anybody else notice that our offense is alot better when we are behind? Gibbs gets a 7 point lead and starts playing ball control in the damn 2nd quarter. If its tied or were down by a score or 2 we open it up and move the ball, like against Tampa Bay last week. We get up 13-3 on Oakland and we basically wait around for them to come back on us. Go for the throat you chicken ***t, you know like what you should have done on 3rd down and 2 last week vs Tampa Bay.
Gibbs has no killer instinct and its evident is his play calling and his girlish actions on the side lines with the eye closing .

we are 5-5 with 6 games left, and it happens. every team losses to a sucky team like the radiers. we just got ours today. The giants had theirs last week against the vikings. This team has to keep its head up. This season is far from over.
I beleive we can still salvage the season, but we better start protecting whoever is QB, and our corners have to cover closer than 8 yards off. They also need to get back to tackling, not just hitting, and expecting the opposing player to Fumble or go down....

I'm sick of our coaches and players over-praising other teams, closing eyes during field goals and 4th downs, and and not going for it on 4th and inches. Its taking away my confidence, your confidence, their confidence, ... EVERYBODY'S CONFIDENCE. They don't believe in themselves.

It has to do a lot with the fumbles They were driving end of the half in the eagles game and a fumble whole second half he went conservative. Last week was the first time he has not gotten conservative after a turnover.
The big problem is the offensive line. They stink even in max protect they stink they need to go out and get some decent blockers.

Brunell:
69/124
56% completion rate
670 yds
167.5 ypg
2 TDs
3 INTs
4 Fumbles
Moss:
19 receptions
245 yds
61 ypg
12.89 ypc
0 TDs
Offense:
263 ypg
Defense:
350 ypg
The defense is giving up close to 100 yards per game more than the offense...
i think the team has just peaked, and i don't think we control our own playoff destiny (unless we win out)....For now, it is essential to plan for the future, and start Campbell/Rogers the rest of the way so that they are completely comfortable to hit the ground running next year...let's see once and for all if Jacobs and some of the other unproven players really have a future in the NFL...

Losing a must win game at home to a 3-6 Norv coached team = Doomsday scenario.
The players and coaches should be ashamed of themselves today.
And it's painfully obvious this team needs a legit NFL GM. We have no depth and very little talent behind our starters. Gibbs needs to give up his GM duties and focus on coaching. For all the acquisitions of players and coaches since Snyder has owned the team, he has ignored the most obvious and most important one. Until we get a GM, expect more of the same dissapointing Redskins seasons.

Well we are 5-5. We will probably be mathematically in it for the rest of the year but realistically- the losses of the past 2 weeks have probably ended any shot of playoffs.
This team isn't a playoff team. This is the time of year, the contenders separate themselves from the pretenders. We aren't one of those teams. Only way this team makes it would be for us to finish 5-1 and for Dallas and NY collasp. That ain't happening. Quite frankly, I think- we have to wonder if this team even finishes .500
Chargers
@Rams
@Cards
Boys
Giants
@Eagles
You look at that and say we can go at least 4-2 and finish 9-7. Thing is, I don't think we will go 4-2. Injuries, Coaching, Lack of good players & depth, etc... It's all catching up to us now. We are better than last year in some aspects but we don't have all the pieces to make a playoff run.
What I do want to see for the rest of the year, is no quit. This team is still mathematically in contention; so better be acting like it. Play each game hard and to the fullest; win or lose. This season will be the springboard to the playoffs in 2006.

this team is not showing the kind of game to game improvement you look for in a team headed to the postseason. if anything this looks like a team that may start to play non-competitively as the injuries mount and the morale drops.
notice that we now have Patten and Thrash out of the lineup.
for all those that thought Taylor Jacobs was uncoverable, I saw him covered this afternoon on two intermediate to deep throws.
and that was with double coverage on the other side toward Moss.

Personally, I think the Team plays down to their opponents, and I think Gibbs will adjust. I could also see us picking up TO, as Andy Reid said he wil never play in an Eagles Uniform again. The arbitrator is a 25 yr season ticket holder with the Skins, and I think he will make the Eagles re-instate TO, or force them to cut him. Gibbs and Snyder would sign him to a contract, that would have stipulations about his salary, and playing time, tied to his conduct, on and off the field. Living in Eagles country, I believe TO would want to play for a team, that:
A. Plays the Eagles 2 times a year, to stick it to them, and
B. Has another great Receiver (Moss), that would leave him open. He would have
caught half of the balls thrown at Taylor Jacobs.
This season isn't over yet.....

The Redskins took what was a very advantageous position at 5-3 and division games at home to finish the season a couple of weeks ago and made a hash of the season against two teams they should have beaten.
That's the truth.
Whether the Redskins are good enough to beat a truly talented team that is making its way back in San Diego is a big question mark. Ditto with beating the Giants in the second matchup.
But to be 5-5 at this juncture did nothing but waste all the effort given forth for 8 weeks.

You would think that after rooting for this team since I knew what football was, I would have experienced more than one playoff season and a season where the team won more than ten games.
I'm with you there. I was 7 when they won the last Super Bowl, old enough to remember it but certainly not old enough to appreciate it.
One thing I've been thinking about is this: Redskin fans are the most loyal bunch I can think of. Despite only having one playoff season in the last 13, we have the largest stadium in the NFL, and it is packed to the brim week after week. The Redskins sell more merchandise than any other football team, and are, in most studies, the most valuable American sports franchise.
Despite having sucked for so long, it isn't affecting anyone in the wallet. I understand that Snyder is a fan and probably wants to win as much as anyone, but as we all know the most pressing motivation in capitalist America is money, and despite putting a losing product on the field year after year, Snyder is making a ton of money off of the Redskins.
I told myself after last year that I wouldn't buy any Redskins merchandise or go to any games until Snyder and the front office changed their ways. I hate their waste of draft picks year after year, and I hate the overspending on free agents, forcing us to cut quality players like Antonio Pierce.
I was beginning to change my tune based on the early wins this year, but I'm back to the same position now. I will not support what I believe to be bad policies. I know its a longshot, but maybe if Snyder felt a little pain in the wallet he would be a little more sensible??
I don't know. Part of me loves the fact that Redskin fans are so loyal, willing to spend their money to support their franchise regardless of wins and losses. But part of me feels like we are getting pushed around, and a poor product is being thrust out there because the owner knows that no matter what he does, he'll make money off of us.
I don't know what to do, but this is ridiculous. We are in league with the Bengals and Cardinals after this season in our futility. One playoff appearance in 13 years. Disgusting.

WallyVon. I must say that I think there is a lot of truth in your post. Despite this loss, plenty of Jersey's and other Redskins merchandise will be sold this week. 1 Playoff appearance out of 13 years is about as bad as you can get.
I believe that Coach Gibbs will get us back in the playoffs, but I'm so TIRED of waiting. :(

No matter what Im not going to stop being a fan, however I cant fully express my anger and disapointment with this team. We have shown we have a good offence and can score, but as soon as we get the lead everything and everyone goes conservative. Our defense is crap compared to last year, we let bad teams have huge running games and leave players wide open for huge pass gains.
I have no confidence in this team this year, and after watching this team the last 2 decades Im only expecting another let down next year to be realistic.

Most NFL teams go through down years financially when they lose. This is added incentive for ownership to build a winner.
Even the Yankees struggled financially in the late 80s and early 90s when they were losers year after year.
We've been losers for 13 years (except for 1999), and this is still the most profitable sports franchise in America. That is amazing.
I just want a winning team. I'll do anything I can to make that happen, including avoiding spending any money at all on tickets or merchandise until smart decisions start to be made.

Hey, dude. The end of the road for us is week 17, same as everybody else. Tighten up, y'all.

The best we can hope for is 9-7. Win against SD,STL , AZ, and the Giants or Eagles.

You may ask how in the world it could be worse, this team could be the Houston Texans  see things aren't that bad is it ? Seriously it was a disappoint loss today I think one of the biggest problems with this team is consistency they played a very good game against the then # 1 defense Tampa Bay moved the ball at will. Turn around can't get anything going against one of the worst defenses in the league.
We certainly need a legit pass rusher that is something that should be #1 priority why the season isn't lost yet they have to find away to stop the turnovers that is the main thing that is killing them and try to generate a pass rush ..

I was at today's game. When we intercepted and ran it back for a touchdown, I thought, yep, we're gonna win. From that point on, we looked lousy. We turned the ball over, we had no offense, Brunell looked lousy, the running game ceased, no receiver was open, we had no pass rush, etc., etc. We've been in every game except one, but losing by a little in a lot of games, doesn't make me feel any better. Alas, it's not our year.....again.

It's now clear that this is still not a good team. Finishing at .500 will be a tough challenge for them. Expectations are officially out the window.
This franchise continues to be unable to right the ship. It's just impossible to understand. The fans deserve so much more than the effort that is being given on the field right now. Even Gibbs is not making a difference. This team is not turning the corner. There has been 0% improvement over the past few weeks.
Sadly, it looks like the team has decided to mail it in for the rest of the season. I thought these guys had more pride than that. I am very disappointed to see I was wrong.

If you say this team has not fought in any game this season you are full of ****. I have not seen a Redskins team fight this hard since our last SB season..and we are fighting just as hard now as we were then. We have had a couple of games taken from us by the refs this year weather you admit that or not. We fought our asses off today but came up short. We are still missing our best D-lineman, we have lost 2 starting WRs, We lost betts, CP put the ball on the grond twice( and no we dont need to trade him). Its been a tough season with some heartbreakers. But this team is much improved....I cant say you "fans" are worth a **** though. I think you should be cut.

This week at home against Oakland, a horrible road

Why was the offense so horrible, especially the pass

Disregarding the first three games, we have won two games in the last seven. I love my skins, but this is just getting worse as the season progresses, and I don't know why. The defence not forcing fumbles? Oline not holding up? I can't figure it out anymore, and I'm starting to rethink watching the chargers game because the past two weeks my heart has been ripped out and spat on over and over. How about any of you?

Technically the season is not over, if really want to be optimistic about it we could win out and be 11-5, is that going to happen, I doubt it. It could happen though, crazier things have. If we can stop from shooting ourselves in the foot, we can have a chance. We stop the fumbles, pick up blocks that are leading to sacks, we have a chance. One thing I noticed about todays game is our offense and how other defense's read it. I noticed when we lined up max protect, the defenses sat back and swarmed our 2 lonley recievers. When we line up 3 out, they blitz and our TE's and tackles cannot pick up the blitz. The biggest thing though is our 2 reciever max protect set, instead of coming at us, they're dropping back into coverage and shuting us down. It's not Brunells fault, he has to throw the ball away, there really is nobody open cause half the offense is blocking. But if the team really wanted to turn this around, they can, it really isn't to late, but from what I have seen as of late, it just is not going to happen.

:2cents: The season is not over yet. I still think that we can win our division and make the playoffs. Todays game was just a bad day for us for some reason. I do think that we should start calling audibles. No need to max protect if they are only rushing 4. Something that coach needs to think about. We need to go on a little win streak. Since we have lost 5 of the last 7 maybe we can win 5 of the last 6.:helmet:

Didn't want to say it last week because of the way we fought on the road in a tough environment, even though I felt sick to my stomach to see Chris Simms statline, but it must be said....we're done. Even if we had beaten the Raiders today we still would have had a tough road to travel, now that we are losing at home to sorry no account teams that all but hand the game to us what else is there left to hope for this year? The way the playoffs are set up you can't lose games like this at home. 5-5 two games out of second in our division, its over, there is no other way to look at it. Next week, if the Chargers are half as good as everyone says they are we are going to have a Meadowlands flashback. 5-6. That is why we absolutely had to have this game not necessarily because we drop to 5-5 but because we can potentially drop two in a row. Then we have to win two games back to back on the road just to get over .500. before we face the rest of the East and we'll be lucky if we go 1-2 in the final three. Last week was the difference between 10-6 and 9-7, today was the diff. bw 9-7 and 8-8, next week it'll be the diff. bw 8-8 and 7-9, etc., etc., I agree with the original post 7-9. out of the playoffs again having to wait til the draft in April.

I'll just log in to ES, or nfl.com, and find out the score of each game, when I wake up later in the morning.

I was hoping for a bit more from this team this year, but the team is as its record indicates.....mediocre. The offense continues to commit turnovers week after week, and their production is inconsistant at best, while the defense continues to melt down late in games when it's most important to make a stand. With Dallas and NY running away with the division, it's time to pull out that ol' tried and true cleche'......there's always next year! This season is over for the Skins.

Why is it that invariably if someone expresses their opinion that the season is over, someone else will respond with "Fine, go be a ____ fan." What does that have to do with anything? How on earth could any bandwagon fans still be left with this team after the losing run we have suffered through?
People are just expressing their cumulative frustration over an insurmountable losing culture that has developed here the past few years. If they weren't true Redskins fans, why would they waste time coming here to vent?
I find it hard to blame anyone for being bitter at this stage. It's extremely difficult to care about something so much, yet be powerless to to prevent the ongoing downward spiral. How can that NOT be frustrating?

im a die hard skins fan, but we are maybe a few plays from being 2-8 or 3-7. Has this team actually improved? Can Jason Campbell help us? Honestly, if we did not play the bears the first week, they would beat us right now? As for the cowboys game, 2 lucky plays helped, but a major penalty on the boys on 3rd down helped us out. The seahawks game was suppose to be a loss after the pick by brunell. I know the skins play their hearts out in KC and denver but turnovers kill. the 49ers win is the only win this team deserve. We played a philly team without TO. What can this team do? Try to use zone blocking. I have no clue what this team will be in a few years.

we could be 9-1 ur right. ur record shows what type of team you are. dallas is only 3 plays away from being 9-1. the pick in seattle and the 2 deep bombs by moss.
Dallas is only a few plays away from 3-7 as well, and has played a much easier schedule so far

Nice call.

Some of you skins 'fans' should be ashamed of yourselves. To have such little hope at week 11 and 12 is fairly remarkable since the next 2 weeks we were playing Stl and Arz.
Sometimes i wonder if the skins really do have the best fans.

I can't keep watching this cr*p week in and week out. It's too painful. Just when I think the losses can't get any tougher, they find new ways to torment me.
Want to take that back?

No excuses we suck. Considering our performance here is the rest of the season for you guys so you dont have to watch pitful football and can find something better to do on Sunday
Chargers L
St Louis L
Arizona W
Dallas L
NY L
Philly W
Enjoy.
we are 5-5 with 6 games left, and it happens. every team losses to a sucky team like the radiers. we just got ours today. The giants had theirs last week against the vikings. This team has to keep its head up. This season is far from over.

....congratulations to all of us today...we now know where we stand...we suck...horrible playcalling...no runs by cp in what seems like the whole second half even though he was on his way to 130 day at halftime...nice job Joe
We had no heart today. The skins are now done. We don't deserve any playoff talk or anything the rest of the year. I predict we will only three more games this year and give the Broncos a great pick.
Thanks skins you have just freed up the rest of my Sunday afternoons.
Until next year guys, I wish all extremeskins and their families happy and safe holidays. Spend your Sunday's with those who you love and happy New Year to you all.
Thanks and god bless.
i hate to say it but the chances of us getting into the playoffs is unlikely
The season's over. Right now I'm just hoping for 9-7 or 8-8.
How do some fans expect us to run the table when we haven't won back-to-back games since the very beginning of the season?
I agree, this loss will put us just out of the playoffs
Good prediticons all :applause: :jerk:
Stand up.. and take the crap :)

I am embarrassed that I posted in this thread. I never said we sucked. I was wearing my emotions on my sleeve after a bad game against the Raiders. However I was optimistic we'd do something after the Rams game. That game we seemed to do something. You could tell a corner was being turned. And I refuse to be scolded by a 16 year old when I have lived and died with this team since 10-11 years before he was born.

I hope now most of you here understand what many of the posters mean when we say "In Gibbs we trust!" He has turned this franchise around.

I agree. To be pissed for being 5-6 is one thing but mailing it in is just blasphemy.

This is the main reason I refuse to post in knee jerk threads such as this one. I wouldn't want to put myself in the position to be on record blasting my own team because things aren't going perfectly at that particular moment. You blast a Hall of Fame coach and react like thoughtless fools. Every person that posted negatively in this thread should be banished, I as a Redskin fan feel sorry for you.

I wouldn't be shocked if the Skins run the table, but it would be hard for us to get into the playoffs the way Dallas and NY are playing. Not giving up on them just yet but being realistic. well realistic just aint good enough, cuase, we did it!!!:eaglesuck :gaintsuck :dallasuck
