But at the game he pulled up JUST prior to kickoff wiith a convoy as police sounded their sirens to announce his arrival....

I am sorry but I almost completely disagree with your post.

First of all Portis does not fumble often. He is an outstanding back. He had a bad day holding onto the football and would have gotten 150 yards on the ground had Gibbs not completely gone away from the run.

Champ Bailey did not want to be a Redskin and disparaged the organization publically. He was not coming back and burned his bridges. Not only that but he was not the best at his position. He was a top tier CB but not the best. He gets burned too much to be considered the best.

Please don't come in here and question the Sean Taylor pick because safety was a glaring need and Taylor was a rare talent. Not only that but Roth could have been the next Ryan Leaf. That pick was speculative as they come and Pitt got lucky.

I will agree with you that our propensity to give away draft picks is not good and we generally are not effective at drafting.

lmao Portis a outstanding back. He dropped the hand off vs the Broncos the first drive of the game that put us in this downword spiral

a outstanding back is LT, Reggie Bush, Edge James with the Colts , a solid back is a guy a Stephen Davis who gets short yardage and pounds it for you.

A FAILURE BACK , Is a guy who is the second highest paid back in the league, dresses in costumes , can not get third and 2 for you, fumbles away two games this yr. Vs the Broncos and today, takes a large part of your cap
