This season's failures can all be attributed to lack of a pass rush. The only reason the game was close yesterday is because of Norv's poor play calling. Every time the Raiders went play action and looked deep they had someone open. Why? The Redskins have no pass rush. We blitz a corner who doesn't seem to get to the other team's QB, that leaves whoever is left in the secondary out on an island. I hold my breath each week when the Redskins blitz (usually to no avail). We even made Chris Simms look like his father. Unless Griff can get back on the field this won't get better. My wish for this offseason? - A true pass rushing Defensive End. Wouldn't it be nice to have bookends like Mann and Manley again?
