All,

We need to come up with a list of HARD hitting questions for Joe tonight. I'm starting a thread so we can get some ideas together and have some people call in with these questions. Just like Art said last week in a thread. We don't ask hard questions in these chats. Well, we should start now.

I'll start it off.

Q: Why do we always run majority of our run plays on the goaline up the middle? Why don't we run more pitches or off tackle to Portis to get him outside?

Joe doesn't answer questions, he avoids them like the plague.

For those of you who don't catch his radio shows today, here is what he'll say.....

"it's not one particular thing, it's all of us"
"we fought our guts out"
"there was a fumble on the play but they said we couldn't challenge it"

Why is Lavar left out of 3rd down packages?

why do we forget about the running game in the second half?

why do we not open up the offense instead of max protect and have only 2 predictable routes?

how much maneuvering room does the team have, given its present draft siutation, to fix some of these problems, partcularly a pass rush, during the off-season.....

Q:

"It seems that Brunnel has been very hesitant in throwing into coverage. Has it been considered, knowing that Moss is capable of catching almost anything, to just throw it up and give him a shot at it?"

Who called the route for Jacobs for a 50 yeard bomb on a 3 and 2 with only 10 yards to go to get in field goal range???

I have a question. What is up with that HORRID play calling in the fourth quarter? Portis was on his way to 100+, but in the fourth he didn't even get the freaking ball. They just heaved it down field to covered receivers. If you didn't know the score, you would have thought the Skins were down by 14 points. That play calling sucked.

That is the decision of the Gregg's. Those two maroons make that decision.

Why didn't you go for it on 4th and a half a yard in the first quarter? And better yet, why didn't you challenge the spot of the ball?

Q:

"It has been rumored that the Washington offense is becoming very predictable. We saw a number of 3 and 4 WR sets in the game against Philadelphia, that seemed to be very effective. However, we have not seen those same setups since then. What is your take on this, and do you have any plans to change things up in the coming weeks, or to re-impliment those 3 and 4 WR sets?

Why did we chose Frost (kick it 20 and let it roll 20) over Groom?

Is Groom still availble?

He is too short for that.:2cents:

We only had two healthy receivers for most the game yesterday.

Now don't be afraid to call in and ask him these questions. Even if he avoids them he might think in the back of his mind well, maybe that is a good idea.

Q: Seeing that LaVar Arrington is the only proven guy on our team that has a history of sacking the QB (11 sacks 2002) why do we take him out on 3rd downs when we need pressure on the QB?

Q: Steve Smith is basically the same receiver as Moss except for the fact that the #1 bears defense still could not stop him, but in our offense, Moss has basically disappeared the last 4 weeks. Is it Moss or your playcalling?
