I wouldn't describe his performance as "butter" - that would be a compliment. It was more like margarine.

Yea, the catching needs some work. But he didn't turn the ball over and had a nice return.

I really just chalk it up to nerves right now. He did have a nice return.

Dude -- give the guy a break. To be the kick returner in your first action as a pro?? Talk about nerves and butterflies...and he did have one hell of a return for us. And when he was tackled, he held on to the ball which is the important part...all his drops were "muffs" and no doubt were due to nerves.
Plus, I don't know how many of you noticed it, but if #30 does not tackle Parsons on the final kick return, he was going to take it deep into Oakland territory, maybe even to the house. He had a HUGE lane.

its good to see the optimism. i guess we know what he'll be working on this week in practice.
in a way i'm glad thrash is not doing PR anymore. if he does one more fair catch with no one around him for 10yds, i'll (insert something crazy but funny here).

give the guy a break? that doesn't seem to be the approach most people take on this site. maybe brunell, portis, jansen, etc were nervous when they made bad plays? maybe daniels and wynn are too nervous to rush the qb. maybe burns and breaux get nervous diarrhea when the game gets tight. ;)
in all seriousness, i doubt he was nervous. i hope yesterday wasn't the first time he's EVER played kr. i hope he gets better b/c he did seem to have some speed but catching the ball cleanly should be his #1 priority.

Grade -C The return he made to the 50 yard line was on a very short kickoff. He didn't return that one from the goal line.
Like George Allen used to say: Let the rookies get their experience and make their mistakes on someone else's team and time. Good advise.

If only they had as little patience with Walt Harris. Now there's a dude that needs to be on the practice squad.
