my sportsbook has the redskins at 150-1 to win the super bowl..sounds like a good price to me i just put 100 dollars on the skins to win 15,000...and of course if they are fortunate to make it to the super bowl i can always hedge against indy..what do you guys think?? not a bad price huh??

Guys.....a safer bet that I have cleaned up on the last 2 weeks.....

Take the Skins -2 for the 1st half against the Rams......you know we play great for 3 quarters!

They were getting 2 against the Chargers and giving 3 against Oakland for the first half...both big fat winners. There is NO WAY that the Skins aren't up by a field goal at half against the Rams. Now if you had taken the Skins against the spread in either game you would have been a big LOSER. 1st half was a winner the last 2 weeks and will be agains this week.

One more LOCK...you can bet week 14 NFL lines....Skins are -3 against the Cardinals....who here believes we won't beat the Cardinals by at least a TD???

Mel Kiper did pick the Skins as his "lock of the week" this week. I couldn't agree more. The players were really pissed after the game and it really showed. I think they are ALL 100% fed up and will be out for the kill this week. I don't think the play calling will be nearly as conservative.


If the Skins win at St. Louis, they'll certainly be favored next week. Then they've got both Dallas and the Giants at home. Those are obviously two tough games, but they are at home. It really isn't that much of a stretch to see them going 10-6 this year. And if they do......... do you think you'd EVER get 150-1 for the Super Bowl??? Not a chance.

I think I'll put $10 on it..... $100 is a bit steep! But I will load up on them this Sunday.

I think the NFL knows the Skins will bounce back too..... they moved the Dallas game to 4:15 because they know that by that time, there will be serious playoff implications for BOTH teams!!!!

If I were you I'd have held off on that bet because if the Skins lose on Sunday they'll probably go to 1,000-1 to win the Super Bowl. Then you can put 1,000 dollars on the Skins to win a million! :doh:
