Blondie,

It was a sprained ankle. KFFL must not know their body parts. Just not sure how serious it is.

I guess the Associated Press doesn't know body parts:

Those of you applauding Pierce's injury are just sad...particularly if it is a back injury. I want us to beat them AND I want Pierce to be OK.

AP was the reason tiki had that big game against us the last time we played.. AP knew our defense, inside out.. He told coughlin, if they stacked left, run wheres its stacked (the point of attack), cut back to the outside and there wil go tiki for the big yards.Tiki did...Now that Ant Pierce is not in the game, making the audibles on D, we have a greater chance for playoff survival.. its looking good for us... BUT first, lets whoop on some cowboy ass....

How long are they saying AP will be out?

Poor tackling, poor pass catching, and poor run blocking and the giants burying Mara under the visitors bench lost us that game. Not Tiki cutting the ball back. While I hope Antonio isn't seriously injured, I am glad that we might not have to see him.

Let's whoop on them cowgirls.

A) Pierce didn't hurt his knee, he sprained his ankle.

B) He told reporters he will be back for Washington at the latest.

that was one reason, but you still have to execute the plays. Lets not take anything away from what Tiki did agasint us. Did any ex players tell LT what we do? You dont think Gregg Williams knew that AP would give the Gmen tips on what we do?

Tiki is one hell of a running back, and wont take anything he has done or what he did against us away from him. Hopefully next time we play them will be different.

Yes. But I believe Tiki was coached to run the way he did. It seemed to me he took advantage of the agressive nature of our defense. He ran forward, stuttered, then went outside over and over again. We acted, he re-acted.

We should have found a way to keep him. He's a very good player. I hope Lemar can learn the mental part of the game the way Antonio had it down last year. Lemar's been fine, but much more quiet.

Marshall may not beat his chest and do cartwheels after every play. But maybe that's because he's busy getting signals from GW and huddling his team. Marshall already knows the defense better than anybody on the team. Marshall leads the team in interceptions. Marshall is tied for 7th in the entire NFL in solo tackles. Marshall is the only player on the defense that has scored a touchdown this season.

I suggest Lemar has been better than fine.

Marshall has played fine. Not as well as Pierce, but we couldn't afford to pay Pierce. A choice had to be made not to overpay for Pierce.
If the defensive line wasn't so banged up, you all would be praising Marshall.
The right decision was made to let Pierce leave for more money.

yeah how dare him take more money somewhere else, no one ever does that, not even in the real world

Sorry, but Marshall isn't 7th in the entire NFL in solo tackles. He's not even 7th in the NFC in solo tackles. I don't know where you got the stats that say he is but I'd like to see them.

As far as Peirce is concerned, I hope he gets better also, but after we play them.

I'm just wondering, how serious is Antonio Pierce's injury? I mean it would be a shame for him to miss the big game against the Skins, if the skins beat Dal and the Giants lose to KC.

Oh I want him to play against us. I was at Cornerstone in CP last week when he returned that gift for a touchdown. Some FLID Giants fans stood up and yelled "Thank you Redskins for Antonio Pierce". I want that SOB to couch up blood chunks after Mike Sellers cracks back on him. I wouldn't mind if he misses the Chiefs game though.

SkinsNut73
December-12th-2005, 12:07 PM
He said things are shaky this week vs KC...but he'll be back for the Skins game.

"No way I'm missing that one" is what he said...

Sorry but no, I'd take a win without AP, let the fans make excuses on how they didnt have him, a win is a win.

I think its classless to aplaud any injury, now, providing he is ok, I am glad that he won't be in the game, but that is only providing he is ok, I am concerned about him and any player that sufferes a severe injury like that.

BBI says that AP might be on the shelf for 6 weeks.
