After all the abuse and near misses and dire frustrations we and he have suffered through his play, Ade made a play that sealed the win. I think he deserves a special hail. It was on a play that the Cardinals had consistently making a few yards on too. It was a good stop... I admit I was beginning to get Norvous too.

Yes.... that stop of Fitzgerald on that quick screen was crucial. I've said all along.. the guy has all the measurables of being a solid corner... good size, speed, and hits pretty well. It's just getting him comfortable and consistent.

It's just getting him comfortable and consistent.

How long do we have to wait for that? Ade Jimoh is no rookie. I'm happy hes stepping up but you know him, when u start praising him, he starts with the mistakes

I agree. He has had a few VERY nice plays this year. Here's hoping it continues!

That was a real nice play. He read that perfectly.

2 ridiculously good defensive plays to seal the deal... Jimoh on the WR screen and Taylor on the 4th and 2 sweep...... thank you Cardinals for not having a running game!

Maybe he's no Romeo...

Dude saved himself on that 4th and 2 sweep. Sean Taylor had a good 15 yard running start and would have highlite reeled the runner had he not hit the deck.

For all the crap he takes, he's really had a pretty decent season. It used to be every time he'd go in the game there was some big play against him, but he's gotten much better. He also had the safety called back by that B.S. tuck rule call in the Denver game.

Is he your loving one-man show, Leonard?

well the worst part about all this is that if springs is out, this fool is starting in his place agaisnt the cowboys. I really dont want to go into the cowboys game with rogers and ade as our starting cb's....it would be a long day

That was a nice tackle... I still dont want him to be anything more than the dime back though.

Kudos to Williams for knowing when to use jimoh, and when not to. If you watch him, he sucks big time in coverage, but he tackles well and plays the short route well. Williams knew that and he put him in JUST because thats what Arizona had been doing.

What he was doing lined up on Larry Fitzgerald on a crucial point in the game lik that, I have no idea. Jimoh has been burned far too many times for one play to make up for it.

However, it was a very nice play at a crucial point in the game, and he deserves props for it.

I thought he put him in because Springs was hurt. :whoknows:

Not sure I'd give any credit to Williams for putting him in at the right time.

Thought I would bring this back now. Hope you're doing better. You were a big part of this year. Hail to Jimoh

He certainly did not let us down. He always gives the bone to punt returners- just great to see him step it up when he was really needed at CB.

Thankfully, Jimoh's play has improved noticeably this year. We're a little banged up at corner and I think we'll be relying on him.
