Got to contain Kidd from penetrating.....watch the pick and roll defense.....and get some consistency in our rotation. I hope he starts Daniels tonight instead of Hayes....

do the Nets have any shooters? Carter on some nights I guess. Wiz can win this game, granted they don't pull another glorious choke-job.

Richard Jefferson is a baller....him, Kidd and Carter....and maybe Kristic....

Hopefully there are some missing guys from the Wizards line-up tonight, signifying a trade with the Pacers for Artest? :)

I think the key is for Arenas to prove that he's not only a scorer but also a top
defender . Today would be a great start in shutting down Jason Kidd.

I love what Ruffin brings to this team. When he is in the game it seems we get to the loose balls and make the important hustsle plays.

HOw do ya like that? Like weve said many times Phil, no lead is safe in the nba.

Wow, we're up a lot.
I'm not watching because I have a Trig test to study for, but can anyone tell me if it's us doing well or the Nets just playing poorly?
Atkins is almost at a double double? Wow....

Didn't watch the game but looks like we won because of the play of our big men.
Brendan Haywood: 4-6 shooting, 9 points, 9 rebounds in 19 minutes.
Etan Thomas: 4-5 shooting, 12 points, 5 rebounds in 16 minutes.
Not to mention Chucky Atkins with 12 points and 9 ASSISTS!
Oh Antawn Jamison with a very impressive *cough* 5-12 shooting for 12 points and 3 turnovers. But hey, he's rebounding!

How did Atkins look running the point? Maybe we should do that more often, and have Atkins and him share the role, WITHOUT Atkins shooting stupid shots all the time.

Great win to break out of our recent skid. We finally played good defense (notice the result). Hopefully the Zards can ride off this defensive momentum for the next few games.
Strange how we play great defense with Arenas on the sidelines. I too wonder if Atkins should share bringing up the ball with Arenas.
Two things are for sure:
1) Atkins deserves more playing time.
2) When we play good defense, we can play with every team in the NBA, and will not only make the playoffs, but be a force in the East.

This was a great win for us.It was great scoring balance all they way around.I hope now Atkins will be happy here and not want a trade.

he supposedly had a big game against the last Laker opponent...
Big Win. Great D. it really shows how much more dissapointing the Nets are than the Wiz. Hope the gawd's back is OK.

Well, big for Kwame maybe.....something like 12 pts and 6 boards....
edit: coming off the bench (as he is not a starter apparently) he got 12 pts. 4 boards, 4 assists in 27 mins.

The Nets were at full strength and we were without our biggest scoring threat and we win by 20 :whoknows:
