Thought I would get a running tab on the stats for these guys to see who has made out better in the trade, Washington or the Lakers. Hell, ususally it's the other team so let's hope it's us this time......here we go.

Kwame's season averages:

6.2 points, 6.0 rebounds, 0.9 assists, .38 steals, .65 blocks, 26.0 mins.

Just for comparison's sake here are Caron Butler's stats:

Caron's season averages:

16.5 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.6 steals, .26 blocks, 34.3 mins

As of now the Wizards got a steal in this trade.....Kwame continues to disappoint.

Kwame's potential will forever be awashed in his poor work ethic.
The fact that the Wizards were able to get live bodies (much less, two!) is the most impressive aspect of the deal.
Can't wait for the matchup!

You could trade Kwame Brown for a slice of pepperoni pizza and a can of diet Pepi and win out.

I updated Kwame's and Caron's season stats in the first post of this thread....this is something I started at the beginning of December to track the two players throughout the season....so far we got a steal in the trade.

Nice work, man.

Wonder what the Lakers fans have to say now?

It's not very close. Caron has stepped in and is doing a pretty good job of filling in for Hughes while Kwame is still Kwame

I take back what I said earlier.

There is no way in hell I trade a pepperoni pizza and diet Pepsi for Kwame.

This brings up the question....what WOULD you trade for Kwame?

I'm gonna go with eggplant. Or zucchini.

Caron is awesome. Did anyone see the pregame. He has a come back kid story. He was in trouble as a kid and ended up in jail for selling coke.

Nice to see he turned his life around. Now I know where that angry edge comes from when he is going to the hoop.

As for Kwame. I didn't think he was going to step in and do anything right away. If Phil is going to be able to do anything with the kid, your not going to see it until later this year, maybe next. He is still very young, big and athletic. He has time to find his game.

Kobe seems to be taking it to another level under Phil.

Not to mention we made up for Kwame with who I think will be the steal of the draft in Andrey Blatche. In small glimpses, he's better then Kwame. He has a much better feel for the game. This is what happens when you have a good gm. So unUnseld!!
