Vikings. I live in MN and folks around me act like Vikings are colts of NFC. The radio callers are all claiming half of their roster should be in pro-bowl and Mike Tice is for COY.

The only winning team they were able to beat is GInts and it took them three Special team TDs to win by 3 points. They piled up wins against packers (twice), Lions (twice), Rams, Saints and Browns. In their five losses, four of them were 20 points more and the other one was 11 points.

It sucks that we have to play the two best divisions for the whole season.

I agree. When the Giants faced the Vikings, they killed them moving up and down the field the whole day. Giants offense racked up 405 yards and the Giants defense only allowed 137 yards.

Having two of our best Special Teams cover guys (David Tyree and Justin Tuck) out with injury really hurt us. Giants giftwrapped the games to the Vikings because of those returns.

i agree i have a friend who is a vikes fan and he's been talking smack about how the redskins were the biggest pretenders of the first half of the season(my response: who was the biggest embarassment of the 1st half of the season?) and then he was telling me how excited he got when edinger kicked a last second fg to beat the packers.. the freakin' packers! they've beaten no one except the giants

If the Vikings somehow make it to the playoffs, I guarentee they will be destroyed in the first round.

The Giants completely screwed that game up. They were consistently getting 5 yards a carry on the ground. I have no idea why you guys insisted on throwing it deep every play. Whenever the Giants decided to do some screens and checkdowns, the Vikings could not stop it. The gameplan was pretty dumb.

But yeah, I agree, the Vikings are ridiculously overrated, and it is a shame they have a better record than the Skins. Only if we could play the Lions and Packers twice a year.

i thought the same thing last year when the redskins beat them in week 17 but they won in the first round.

i have no comment on how good the vikes are but its always a good thing to play your best ball at the end of the season.

I don't blame Vikings fans for being stoked about their season. I think talk about sending half their team to the probowl is overblown, but a case can be made for Tice getting COY. Given the mess the started the season with, NOBODY would have predicted they'd be where they are now.

And you can't blame a team for their schedule.

This Vikings team seems to have more intestinal fortitude then previous teams. They are more resilient and much more mentally tougher. They are a more team oriented bunch rather than relying stars such as Moss and to a lesser degree, Culpepper.

I wouldn't be shocked at all to see them make the playoffs and given Chicago's recent struggles at the qb position, Minnesota may be playing for the NFC North title at home against the Bears in the final game of the season.
