While you are here, check out Antonio Pierce's journal, talking smack about the Washington Redskins and not winning in December.
I sent him an email asking if maybe it was him (you can to).

You know, when he first left, I had no hard feeling towards him. Even though he went to a division rival, I felt that he got the contract he deserved for having a near Pro Bowl season and being one of the NFL's leading tacklers and leading one of the NFL's best defenses.
But now, I am beginning to greatly dislike the guy. I mean, he hasn't stopped whining since he left here.
If you ask me, he just wishes he was still a Skin. ;)

This was the e-mail I sent him, I wonder if he'll respond back?
"This is my first time being on this side of the playoff picture because in WASHINGTON we never were winning in DECEMBER."
Maybe you should have stayed in Washington because this December we're undefeated and doing fine without you. I mean really what's with all the Redskin bashing, they gave you an opportunity instead of sticking around you left for the money and not what was best for the team. I understand you have to look out for yourself money wise but something tells me a SB ring is coming to Washington before gets to NY.

He did make that so called negative statement when the Skins were 6-6 and the Giants were 8-4 before we beat the Cardinals, Cowboys, and Giants and right after they defeated the Cowboys.
So it just sounds to me like he was saying that this is the first time he has been in contention at this point in the season and he is excited. It's too bad he got injured the following week because he was enjoying the competition.
People need to lighten up.

December-28th-2005, 07:17 AM
Check out Santana's journal. What a striking difference. Santana also was "disrespected" by his old team. But he just moved on and dealt with this as a pro. Maybe this difference in characters influenced somehow Skins FO decision about Pierce. Maybe Gibbs saw this part in AP and decided not to break a bank over him.
As for NFL players’ journal – I would rather read Smooty’s journal. There is probably not much about playoff or a winning team, but lake chapter could make a good reading.

People need to lighten up.I might agree with you if that entry wasn't followed up with one that stated this was the first time anybody appreciated him. The fans in Washington loved AP last year, and while the front office didn't pay him as much as NY they still made a pretty substantial offer for a guy with one good year on his resume. Sack up, Antonio, its just bidness.

AP is turning into the 2K5-Brian Mitchell. It's interesting how quickly Brian changed course on the team when he wanted to retire a Redskin. Brian still speaks his mind, but the criticism is now constructive. The bashing has stopped. AP will learn that the team and this team’s heritage is much larger than he and the team will be loved long after his NFL tenure is complete.

I'm really starting to dislike this guy. I can see if it was once but he's been making these type of lame comments all year. Even so much as coming out OUR post game show after the debacle in Jersey and bitching about how if we just payed him his money, he'd still be playing with us. It's almost like that bitter old woman/man that just wont let things go. Even Lavernyass Toes has been quiet about a lot of his hard feelings towards the Skins after the few comments he made after the trade went down.

He stated a FACT. I don't understand why you all go nuts everytime a player talks about how bad the teams were when they were in Washington. They're usually speaking the truth.
Because it's an unneccesary dig. He can state the same fact without the slam.
"I've never been with a team that is winning in december" Nice, makes his point, doesn't throw mud at his former team. "I'm really excitied to be playing meaningful games in December for the first time in my career." But he chose to throw the mud for what, the ninth or tenth time since he's been gone?
It's like an ex wife who, rather than say "Our marriage didn't work out because we had some differences" says "Our marriage fell apart because he's lousy in bed."
It may be a fact, but to constantly bring it up is low class.
He could just as easily take the high road, but he continually chooses the low road, so F him.

2006 OFFSEASON
02/25/06
Well just to let all the NEW YORK GIANTs fans know, I'm back to 100%. Just recently the doctors offically cleared me 100% to begin getting ready for the up coming offseason. The injury really put things in reality for me. One year I don't miss no plays, than the next I get knocked out the last month of the season when we were making a serious run for the playoffs.
But I'm excited and ready to begin this offseason and build off of what people thought we could not do last year. This team, with a couple of pieces can be a SUPERBOWL CHAMPION. I believe that and I'm sure my teammates do as well. We start working MARCH 20, so the clock is ticking and best believe that this year NY GIANTS wont come up short. The defense will improve for one. This is the first year, in my 6 yrs that I will have the same coaching staff coming back. That alone speaks for its self. Also our offense will be one of thee best next year, so I hope everyone is getting pumped up like me and ready to turn GIANTS STADIUM into a nightmare for the upcoming year.
Giant stadium will be a nightmare.... for the Giants.
Now compare Darnerien McCants journal, what a class act.
http://www.nflplayers.com/home.aspx
I AM NO LONGER APART OF THE WASHINGTON REDSKINS... I JUST WANT TO THANK ALL THE FANS THAT LOVED ME AND SUPPORTED ME. This was and always will be my home, now God willing i can work for someone else in the nfl and bring my abilites to the table. I want to wish all my brothers on the team the best and keep fighting like i know you will ya boi

Yeah you didnt get love the whole time you were here but we didnt know you because you were a product of Greg Williams, he brought out your best. Pierce has no credibility.
He said the Giants were the better team and then had no explanation for the lopsided loss in December to Washington just as the drive for the playoffs was beginning.
He said the Redskins were a 'loser' organization and yet when the dust cleared it was the Giants that got egged at home by Carolina in the playoffs while the Redskins won their first round game and advanced to face the eventual Super Bowl team in Seattle.

so both teams lost eh? I fail to see much difference in the end result.

This is a copy of the email I sent him...
You really need to stop talking smack about Washington. If it wasnt for the genius Gregg Williams, you still would be a scrub just trying to survive on a practice squad in the NFL. You're nothing special dude. The Redskins and Coach Williams made you what you are today. You had one good year and now you think you're special. The Redskins tried to sign you. According to my sources, they gave you an offer very comparable to the one NY gave you. You just decided to take a little extra and go to NY. Shows how selfish you are. Not to mention you have no loyalty, seeing how Washington made you. I'm glad you're gone though. Lemar Marshall has taken your place and has played excellent. Even better than you. I'm glad you got injured and you'll probably be cut in a year or two. You are way overrated and instead of constantly bad mouthing the Redskins you need to thank them everyady for the money in your pocket for if it wasnt for Coach Williams and the Redskins are the reason why you have it. Show some respect and stop running your mouth.

fansince62, to me there is a big difference between going on the road in consecutive weeks in the postseason, winning the first game and playing the conference winners to within 10 than in what the Giants did, namely fall flat on their faces and get shut out AT HOME :)
this is like an NBA player talking smack about his former team and then watching them advance to the second round of the playoffs while his team goes down 4-0 in round 1.
time for someone to shut up and start playing some ball, eh? :)

Why can't the guy just take the high road? He is a great player, and he would probably still have a lot of fans here if he didn't run his mouth. Where's the class?
You should speak for yourself. Redskin fans will never be fans of a giant. At least not us people who were born breathing the burgandy & Gold!!!

I agree, it's a huge difference. Not to mention, all he was doing was watching from the sidelines, broken. Just compare his journal to McCants journal. :logo:

I thought I could keep liking Pierce after he left. So much for that. He's a prick. Let him talk, it just adds fuel to the fire.

Hey AP, we winning now your gone aren't we. Amazing how things change when we reorganize and lose a few people who we thought were untouchable.
Your in NY, recovering from an injury that kept you from playing in the playoffs, and here we are building a team for the Superbowl. Shoulda hung around one more year. Money ain't everything.

Now, the Giants have the talkers in Pierce and Arrington while the Redskins have the workers in Washington and Marshall.
LaVar still hasn't learned the basic lesson that a defense that plays together with all 11 players on the same page will outperform one that is more talented but lacks chemistry and discipline.

Pierce should shut his mouth because first off he isnt that look to be talking and second its been a year now he can stop crying we didnt overpay for him to stay. We gave him a good offer that I remember and he went to NY for more money.

How did the Redskins "make" him to who he is today. Of course we gave him the oppurtunity to play, but he worked his but off, working out and being in the film room studying to become the "quarterback" of the defence when he was here.
He made himself who he is today, not the Skins.
