Congrats.....we'll see you guys in the playoffs

Enjoy the NFCE title, your team earned it.

Let the media love fest for the Giants starting with Berman on ESPN begin.

Now for the next week or so we'll hear nothing but Manning vs Manning Superbowl talk.....nothing about the Bears, Broncos, Seahawks, Bucs/Panthers, Bengals or Patriots.
And I'm really sure they'll be talking about how the Cowboys missed the playoffs than the Skins getting in..........

Congrats, Giants, see you in the Meadowlands.

Don't let Eli drink too much tonight; he doesn't hold his liquor to well.

Congrats ~

I won't even say anything about that extra home game, which was completely appalling BS but I won't mention it now. It's just a ridiculous unfair advantage but that's for another day. Right now enjoy the NFC East title you guys earned with just 1 more home game than everyone else in the league. Which shant be brought up so forget I said anything about it.

Those New York football Giants deserve it. Wellington Mara was great for the NFL and if the Skins lose I would LOVE to see an all Manning superbowl.

I second that, if it wasn't for the Panthers.......they'd be done now.

That pic is hilarious!! Yeah sorry Tom the Giants' fan, I was trash talking in another thread, but congrats and good luck in the playoffs unless, of course, it's against the Skins!

Congrats, Tom & Giants following.

I would say that without any hesitation if this game didn't hinge our contention for the title.

But you all got the job done.

I hate when Berman calls them New York "Football" Giants. What other New York Giants are there? There hasn't been a NY "Baseball" Giants to confuse them with in generations, certainly before Berman starting hosting Sportscenter and then Primetime.

Yeah that's pretty annoying.....Berman right now is on my **** list for saying that the Eagles will beat the Skins tomorrow.
And sterling Sharp was really getting on my nerves during the broadcast.

Anyway, Congrats and HAPPY NEW YEAR everybody.

Thanks for the congrats guys. I hate it when they put the football into the Giants' name too. The only way we would play each other probably is if it were in the NFC Championship game. Unless Tampa loses to the Saints which I can't see happening.

Good luck tomorrow. And now that the Giants won, I really mean that. :D

Thats the Giants official name. They didn't stop being the New York Football Giants when the baseball team left.

I am glad Tiki and Strahan weren't seriously injured. I am glad the Cowboys & Eagles didn't win the division.

I would be lying if I said I didn't have bitter feelings about some of the things that happened which aided the giants this season, but for Tom & the regular giant fans who show class here.... I am happy for you. (kinda :nana: )

bubba,

I'll hold off on saying Strahan wasn't seriously injured. I could only imagine what that eye is going to look like in the morning.

he played in the 4th qtr. if it was even thought to be serious he would have been in the locker room, he had a cut and a black eye.

']bubba,

Looked to me like he could have done with a stool and some of Thomas Hearns' trainers in his corner. That could last a while.

Still, the Giants once again proved that they depend on Mr MVP to win matches. Any team that has his number can beat the Giants. Gregg Williams has it on his speed dial now.

Kudos to the G-men for riding out their luck. The history books will record the division title as theirs, with an asterisk for the extra home game.

We'll see how far their luck takes them in the next stage, shall we?

Good season Giants. They deserve the title. It would have been nice had they choked, but now the Skins need to focus on the Eagles.

To Tom and other classy Giants fans...

Congrats.. you went and did what you needed to do.. beat an inferior team.

Hopefully the Redskins will do the same later today and we'll get a chance to meet each other again in the playoffs.

For everyone who is mad about the extra home game; They would have beat the Saints in New Orleans, San Antonio or any where else they play.

Perhaps not. It was early in the year. The Giants have NOT played well on the road all season. That's why they play the game. There are plenty of threads that discuss this very topic. :2cents:

Good luck to the Skins against the Eagles. I was hoping we'd get to play you in the first round, but I guess we got the Panthers. Well maybe down the line. The fans deserve a rubber match.
