Miners in WVA

I was just reading on yahoo.com that they did some air quality test on the area they believe the miners are trapped in and they rescuers are "very discouraged." :(

just wanted to wish my best to the miners and their families and pray for a miracle

I heard that this morning too and man, my heart goes out to there familys. Supposedly, the owner of the mine had 41 health violations including a buildup of combustable materials. I heard they think a lightning strike may have caused the explosion.

New news. It was terrible misscommunication and only one miner survived.

When I went to bed, everybody from CNN to MSNBC to FOXnews said that 12 Miners were found alive.

When I woke up this morning, it was only 1.

Then it got me thinking or an interview I saw with one of the families by I think Rita Crosby. She asked WHO told them that the 12 were found alive.

The answer was "I don't know, some guy".

Of course at the moment I didn't think anything of it. But, now this morning it kind of clicks.

Sad story about one of the most dangerous jobs out there.

This is sad news. My prayers are with the survivor in the Hospital and his family. I am also praying for the families of the ones who died. Did they ever determine who gave the wrong information?
