I'm a Tulane alum, so if I saw you wearing a Patrick Ramsey jersey in my section at Raymond James, I'd prolly buy you a beer.

But, I won't be at the game tomorrow, so don't count any freebies.

I wore my gear last week into Philly and talked Sh#$ the whole game. I have never been worried about a fight though - most normal fans know their limits. And screw it, if you do get hit - Im sure you can find someone to sue, lol. Be proud. When is the last time you had the chance to cheer on the SKINS in the playoffs.

Again, last week in Philly there were some SKINS fans in front of us wearing regular clothes. I could tell, bc with every big play I could see them pumping their fists very slightly. Thats cool, but I would not make such a long trip down there, just to sit like a pu$$....

Dont be skerred. Hail...

I went to the game earlier this season there, and 3 meat heads came up to us accussing us of saying some crap to their "wives" and posturing for a fight. We basically played them off cool and said "what?!?" then they backed off and wished us a good game.

There will always be an element looking for someone to fight, if your not looking for a fight and know when its fun banter and when its fight posturing and handle it accordingly you will be fine.

Rule number one when visiting is dont embarrass the team, if you follow that rule then you should never get in a fight.

That Ill have stuff thrown at me, and possibly have people wanting to fight!

Whoever told you that doesn't know what they are talking about. If you are not a complete jackazz, you will be treated just fine in Tampa. I've travelled to over 50% of the stadiums in the NFL. Tampa fans treat opposing fans nicer than anyplace I've been to. Tampa is a classy city all around.

Now if you act like a rude jerk, I can't say that you wouldn't deserve to get pounded. But even then, I've seen some real asses cheering as obnoxiously as possible for the opponents who deserved to be treated poorly, but were not.

The only beating you will suffer in Tampa will be emotional defeat since your Redskins will go home with a loss.

Now Philly is a different story.

Sure, that's if Gruden fails to hand over another briefcase loaded with cash to ensure that the goal line magically moves backwards as needed. Are they bringing over the refs from Disney World again?

I wore my ST jersey in Philly last week, and sat alone. I was verbally abused, but oh well. I sat by myself, waited in line for food/beer by myself, and went to the bathroom by myself. I also cheered loudly with no Skins fans near me. If I didn't get my butt beat in Philly under those circumstances, you should be good. Enjoy the game, and I sure wish I could be there with you all.

WEAR YOUR NALIA !!!

Let me tell you.. Bucs fans are harmless with a captial LESS...
They are a bunch of Bay area softies and who couldnt harm a fly. I likened the experience to a Jimmy Buffet concert.
I was there in November and noone bothered me, in fact they were fussing at the bucs, telling me how sorry they were for most of the afternoon. Most even left before the 2 min warning in the last affair. They are bandwaggon jumpers and we can take them out of the game early if we jump on them early and establish a lead.

I went to a preseason game in Tampa a few years ago and wore a Redskins jersey and just had the typical jabs you'd get at any stadium. Most of the people there were really nice. I had my picture taken with some guys dressed as pirates out by that ship in the endzone.

I have to agree with UdinG about the Bucs fans...me and my wife were at the first Skins-Bucs game back in November, and we wore our Redskins stuff, and 99% of the fans were really cool. There were a few young guys with liquid courage in full effect, but we just ignored them. Hell, we sat in the same row as Keith "Big Nasty" Kunzig (Section 108, Row A), and while we thought he would heckle us mercilessly, he was actually really cool...we got our picture taken with him and a Hoggette who was sitting in the same row. Even though the Redskins lost, we still had a blast!

BTW, we'll see about who wins or loses this time, bro! HTTR!!! :point2sky

Once at RFK, I saw this guy emerge from a concourse in the upper deck of one endzone. He had an orange jersey and a bucket hat on. He reached under his jersey and pulled out a 3 X 5 Bucs flag and proceeded to walk about 1/3 the way around the stadium holding the flag in front of his face. He was bombarded with beer and hotdogs as he walked around, almost holding the flag up for protection. When he got to his section, he climbed almost to the top of the stadium. In less than five minutes, security was rushing in his direction. They left with him in tow. Wear your stuff proudly, but you don't have to go overboard and flaunt. HTTR!

In every stadium you will have a few clowns, but we are not the classless fans you have to usually deal with in the NFC East. Wear your Redskins stuff with pride like I have always worn my Bucs stuff, but all I would say is that you should show some class, heck act like you have been there before and you shouldn't have any problems. I have never said anything to any opposing teams fans unless they started shooting their mouth off.

A better way to handle it in Tampa is to compare number of teeth. You'll win EVERY time!
