Don't think I'd be giving our defense bulletin board material Mr. Galloway. Especially if Sean Taylor and Cornelius Griffin are reading it.

Can't wait to see Taylor hit Galloway and give him "alligator arms" for the rest of the game. :point2sky:

"alligator arms" is part of a more serious disease that effects more and more NFL receivers each and every year. It's called "Taylorphobia" or "Seanitis". Joey Galloway is showing the first signs of this dreaded disease.

one of the best qualities of Joe Gibbs' teams is the ability to learn from a loss to an opponent and use that information to beat them the next time around :)

I remember Denver fans crowing about beating the Skins 31-30 in Denver during the regular season and that didn't translate much into Super Bowl XXII did it? :D

Nice signature, cupcake.

I did a little Jacked Up research. Here's what I found:

Tampa made six JU appearances. On 2 occasions, they were delivering hits (Jets and Panthers game). On 4 occasions, they were receiving hits (Lions, Jets, Panthers and Bears games). Oh, and two of those (Lions and Jets), your defensive player was getting put on his ass by the other team's RB.

Washington made 5 appearances. On 1 occasion, they were receiving hits (Dallas). On 4 occasions, they were delivering hits (Broncos, Raiders, Cardinals and Dallas). 3 of the 4 were delivered by Sean Taylor, and 2 of those were the hit of the week.

Did you know that ST wasn't in the last game?

He's in this one.

Were I a true Bucs fan, I'd be praying hard for the health of Joey Galloway.

HAIL TO THE REDSKINS!!!

Sportcenter just flashed a stat that listed the top 5 post season winning percentages of all time. Belichek, Lombardi, then Gibbs for the top 3. I don't remember the 4th or 5th, but Jon Gruden wasn't on the list.

Gee, I guess they just left him off by accident, huh?

The so called experts referring to the Bucs D as number 1 is far from the truth. There are several Ds better than the Bucs', and the Bears actually have the number 1 D.

bulldog, there was also controversy (fumble I think it was) that surrounded that 31-30 loss in Denver and the game led to the dismissal of one Max Zendejas. He stunk so bad that game, missing an extra point and chip shot FG, that Sam Huff later named one of his mules Max.

I can not stand Galloway. I remember when he was with Dallas on the 2003 Thanksgiving Day game he stopped on the 1 yard line. looked back and walked in.

I hope Mr. Taylor introduces himself to Mr. Galloway very early and very often.

So you're saying that even tho the Redskins play at a high level, there's room to try harder.

They don't go ALL the way.

They save a little bit if no one insults them.

Will this flamer be here if his Bucs lose? Based on others like him making the most of their cameos here the past five weeks, we'll need to be put out an APB on him after the game.

As for Galloway, I'd do a little more in paying attention to WRs who're much better than you -- e.g., Santana Moss, who's much younger and better -- and the modesty they display.

I hope you get lit up today, son.

No, they go give it their "all" given the circumstances. The "all" here is the playoffs and the "all" they'll give will matchup up to those circumstances. The bulletin board material that Galloway put up raises those circumstances. So too would something like playing for a deceased owner (e.g., the Giants).

So you really attribute your 36-0 loss to the loss of Mr. Mara.

WOW, I guess you lost the Division to them because the Giants played the Saints at home?

I would like an answer to the questions tho. Seems Diesel hasn't got any.

Nobody feeds the trolls here. Look over the stats for the past five games (posted above graciously by Armchair). Look at the harder hitting defense (according to Jacked Up appearances, post #15). Look at the better win percentages in the playoffs (and you have to have over 10 appearances to count here; Gibbs is 16-5, over 75%).

Your questions are designed to be inflammitory, and not worth answering. If you want to talk stats, practice regimen, etc, that's fine. If you want to try to be insulting, go back to the Bucs board.

Mister Happy
January-7th-2006, 10:42 AM
I think he means that the Bucs technically already beat us once, so they know it is possible for them to beat us because they technically did it before.

I say technically because the reality is that the Bucs actually lost but the refs gave them the win anyway.

What he should say is that he knows they can beat the Skins as long as the refs hand them the game.

Last time it took Simms and Shepherd having their best game of the season and Galloway having one of his best just to get close enough for the refs to hand them the win over us without Griffin and Taylor and with Salave'a and Clark not being 100 percent. That is a lot of things falling into place just right for them. Next time, they won't be so lucky.

Brown_Hornet
January-7th-2006, 10:43 AM

Yes, yes I am. But I don't discredit your team or use foul language. I just like to play devil's advocate and bust balls.

If you were exposed to Big Al Coleman on a daily basis(as a rival), you'd feel the need to muck it up with Skins fans from time to time as well.

Really, good luck this afternoon.

Brown eye - trash talk is an ancillary part of all sports, so don't try to stir up sh*t with some smug post about the motivations of a team that smart football players not named Joey "my career is choc full o' failure" Galloway know better than to instigate. Please come back after the inevitable ***** pounding the Skins dole out, I would love nothing more than to further discuss the hair splitting semantics of effort and motivation that you seem so intent on pursuing.

It's funny that you are motivated to visit your opponent's fan site on the day of the game when you could leave that last little bit of effort, that one profound statement that provides comfort to your fellow Bucs fans. Actually, it's not funny, it's sad when you think about it.

Your statement, the first line in your first post, is designed to be inflammitory by attempting to twist the words and intent of another poster. Hence, you're a disrespectful troll.

Apparently, you haven't been able to follow my statements about your attitude, nor about the actual use of a Bulletin Board. Before you talk about a discussion flying over somebody's head, be sure you've got a grasp on the conversation at hand.

And Clown Shoes is just as cute as "Sparky." Give an attitude, get an attitude. At 39, I'd have though you'd have learned that by now.

Mikey stoppit. You're embarrassing yourself bro.

1st off, of course I was trying to get a rise outta the crew who believes in BBM(I'm tired of typing the whole thing)

I'm not trying to twist words, I'm trying to put words in the mouths of BBM advocates.

If you think that your team plays better when the have some smack on the BB, they must leave something in the locker room when the BB is smack-free...

GET IT YET?

Also notice, the "quote" you just copied....I asked a question, I didn't make a statement.

BTW, Sparky is way better than Clown Shoes. That said, I agree, Clown Shoes isn't too bad, it's kinda growing on me.

OK, I'll assume that you're new to this and try and help you out.

1) Responding, especially as a flustered child, IS feeding the trolls.

2) Where did I question the integrity of your beloved Redskins?

3) On trac and runnin' full speed, well, I suppose I'm at full speed now cos' I have "bulliten board material?.

Arrowhead,

WTF was that jibberish?

BTW, I'm no Buc's fan!

Okay Browneye, so you're a fan of some team other than the Washington Redskins, so I'll help YOU out:

1) It's obvious you have nothing of value to offer this fan site.

2) Find something more productive to do. I'm sure your parents would love it if you cleaned your room and maybe paid some rent from time to time.

3) You are not special. You are not a beautiful or unique snowflake. You're the same decaying organic matter as everything else.

"alligator arms" is part of a more serious disease that effects more and more NFL receivers each and every year. It's called "Taylorphobia" or "Seanitis". Joey Galloway is showing the first signs of this dreaded disease.

Actually, the real terminology for the condition is called "Arachnophobia" (fear of spiders, i.e. Sean "the Tarantula" Taylor)

Ok Caddy, I've read your ridiculous posts and kept my mouth shut for the most part. However, you're a fan of the NFL. You can't expect me to believe that you can't admit that Joe Gibbs IS one of the greatest coaches in the NFL right now; I can understand coming here and causing a little havoc on the Redskins' message board. Hell, we all do that. But to laugh at a statement eluding to the fact that Joe Gibbs is one of the greatest coaches to ever coach in the NFL is ludicrouse and ignorant.

I would suspect you're probably a little nervous about this game. I suspect that this venting and childish behavior is a way of avoiding the fear that your team MAY have a good chance of losing to the Redskins this afternoon.

Good luck. May the best team win.

What I "get" is that you're not getting the attention you desire by being a worthwhile contributor, either as a fan or opponent. Because of that, you are trying to bladerun the limits of being a troll, and are attempting to be inflammitory and aggrivating without drawing the attention of site moderators.

Trying to put words into somebody else's mouth is inflammitory behavior. Thanks for admitting that. The inference you make (the one I'm supposed to "get") is designed only to create undue friction solely for trolling purposes.

Inference, is drawing conclusions that are not explicit in what is said.

http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=infer

To give a recent social example, making a statement like "You have to wonder about people who see Brokeback Mountain..." infers that people who went to see that movie are homosexual. It was never said outright, much like you never said outright that the Redskins play weaker when there's no smack talk. It's inferred, and distastefully so.

Find another site to troll, out of your "claimed" respect for the Redskins.

3.) What part of a logical and detailed response can be compared to a flustered child? Please quote the line directly, as it will make it easier to prove that you're not the respectful troll you claim to be.

Get over yourself. You've not answered a single question, yet continue (through your lack of understanding) to think I'm flustered. I've not seen, nor participated in a flail-ex, in a long, long time. Your inability to focus on individual points has made this a gigantic waste of time.

I can't believe these Bucs fans are insulting the intellegence of Taylor and Griffin when Galloway couldn't keep his mouth shut for a week to avoid giving the hardest hitter in the NFL some bulletin board material.
