Our defense showed up today. Our key players did various key plays and helped us win.
But the offense on the other hand... garbage
CLinton portis is banged up, i would love to see portis stop trying to nail guys up... it was concerning to see him trying to take the stingers out.
Santana moss cant do it by himself.
Samuels... horrible game for him, how did u make the probowl?
Brunell? i never saw anyone open... but he should have done better
sean taylor... i never saw him spitting but watever, im glad we were able to win without him.
I hope shawn springs returns, we need the offense for next week.
Great win for our Defense

I'm with ya man! I'm glad we won but it was ugly, ugly, ugly. The D pulled through.
Brunell was just awful! The one time in 5 games that he throws it to Jacobs he doesn't even give him a chance to make a play and he gets picked off.
What the hell was going on with Portis hardly even playing?
Don't get me wrong I am very happy we won but we need to score points. 122 yards of offense is not going to win in Seattle.

All playoff wins are good wins.
All playoff wins on the road are great wins.

Not impressed?
Dude, we were 6-10 last year and just won a playoff game! Did we look like the Colts? No - who cares.
I am impressed that we won DESPITE our Offense not playing well.

And did it on the road...and for the 6th time in a row!! :applause:
Offensive output needs to improve next week, but I'm gonna be smiling all week...

Hail to the Redskins!
Awesome job by the D.
Exactly what was needed against the Bucs.

Enjoy this a bit. I know where you're coming from with It, but how would you feel If we had lost? We won, and we will make up for the mistakes on offense against the Seahawks. :helmet:

well i dont care what u think...
please dont make this personal.
some of you are posting as if im a bucs fan.
you dont think setting a record for the least amount of offensive yard produced is awful and not impressive.
I was mad that we only got 3 points with our offense. We got out scored... 3-10.
and like i said... im glad we won im relieved and i hope we change things next week

It was clear that that Bucs had a very good game plan to take way our threats...Cooley, Moss, and Portis ... I remember listening to Montey Kiffin on NFL network and he clearly stated when asked what does he have to do to shut down the skins offense..... his response was...1st we have to get at Portis ...then we have to get to Brunell and then Moss!! I would give the Bucs D the recognition they deserve before i say the offense was bad

Is anyone else besides me still trying to figure out what "we hoefully won" means?
(thought it could have been "hopefully won", but that still doesn't makes sense...)

Samuels was up against Simeon Rice and a very, very, very charged Bucs' D.
When it came out, our D got the better of the deals. We knew going into this it would be a Defensive game. They had our O's number, no doubt. It wasn't as if we were playing a Powder Puff team out there.
No offense to anyone who plays Powder Puff, of course.

I agree that the O was terrible.
BUT
Look at the bright side: The Skins did every thing to let TB back in the game and we still won. That makes me confident because there is NO WAY this team plays that bad on O next week.

People need to stop acting like the Skins' offense has been playing like this for the last six weeks, and only lucky bounces and blown ref calls have helped them win...I remember hearing after the Chargers game that the Skins will stuggle to even make it to 8-8 "if they keep playing like they did against the Chargers"...then after the Arizona game, all that was heard around here was "If the Skins play like that next week, the Cowboys are gonna kill us"...then after the Eagles game, it was "If the Skins play like this next week, they're not gonna win in the playoffs"...
Well guess what...the reality of the Skins is NOT dictated by a one-week performance...they can be blown out 36-0 and then come back and win 17-10 against a tough Eagles team still featuring McNabb and Westbrook...they can look atrocious for one half against the Cardinals, then rip off two weeks of stunning dominance against two division rivals with better records...and they can look mortal against a wounded Eagles team with the playoffs on the line, then come out and play even worse offense the next week against arguably the best defense in the league...and still win...
It's possible that playing four road games in the last six weeks may be taking its toll...but the Skins have won six-games-in-a-stinkin-row!...how many decades do we have to go back to the last time that happened??

if it was the bears who just won we would all be saying that it was business as usual. the offense wont suck like this in back 2 back weeks.
