Well done on the win - it's all that matters and i couldn't be more PO'd than i am right now - anyway...
quick question:
outside of the obvious - "we won so we were better" answer - did the better team win today?
my honest answer - washington was very fortuitous in the first half and was very good at cashing in on its opportunities - NO QUESTION THEY DESERVED TO WIN... second half looked like a domination by the bucs between the 20's but did not capitalize at all.
i think washington was more opportunistic and will need to get alot better over the next six days to have a shot.
i think the young bucs "outplayed" washington, but were not good enough to win. this year hurts - next year looks promising...
anyway - i'll be rooting for you guys the rest of the way - i have always loved teams with playa's from the U. all them florida boys make pro teams better!

Tampas 12th man showed up huge. If this had been played at FedEx I dont believe it would have been as close.

We beat the #1 defense on the road. Id say we are the better team.

Yes the better team won.
The Skins were on the road and still came out on top.
Causing turnovers is part of winning. You can't say we got th breaks and thats why we won.
Most every game in the NFL comes down to being able to hold onto the ball creating turnovers.

Excellent point. Never under-estimate how hard it is to win on the road, especially in the playoffs.

I think it just comes down to this. You're teams D gets mad props. Our offense isnt pathetic. Yeah you heard me say it. Your D was just THAT good. Fortunately our "D" came out and played almost as well and in some ways better than yours. Id still take my team over yours 7 days a week and twice on sundays if I could get away with it.

I think the score board is correct, the better team won.
Our D scored when our offense could not, our team has better balance, hence the better team.

The Bucs were able to complete a lot of the underneath and mid range stuff in the second half b/c the Skins defense was committed to not getting burned over the top. Taylor ejection also helped out Tampa immensely and was the only "fortuitous" play of the game. The Bucs turnovers were not bad luck. The Skins caused them.

Usually the obvious answers are the correct ones.

I think the teams fought to a draw. Both d's more or less neutralized the others' offense. Gibbs went hyper conservative, partially because he trusts Williams that much. In all honesty, I'd say neither team is better. I thought we got robbed in the regular season, but it was close either way. I could see Bucs fans feeling the same way after this game.
