(Rotoworld) The Cowboys are poised to hire Chris Palmer as an assistant coach later this week.
Impact: It's uncertain whether Palmer will be the team's offensive coordinator and/or play-caller. Palmer has worked with Cleveland and Houston as expansion teams since working under Bill Parcells in New England.

Couldn't happen to a nicer team!

Wasn't he the brains behind Houston's offensive juggernaut  ? After seeing Carr so well protected, Bledsoe should feel relieved. :rotflmao:

He must be the bastard stepchild of the Parcells coaching tree.

You can't look at the W/L results of a coach when evaluating them as a coordinator. Too many things come into play such as actual talent level. Shoot, if this wasn't the case, everyone would have been pissed when you hired Bugel and Williams since they were both monumental failures as head coaches.

When was Palmer ever a coach... ?

Williams and Bugel didn't succeed as coaches, but went back to what was their strengths. Palmer hasn't even been good at his current job in quite some time.

Ok, let's forgive him for Cleveland because that was an expansion club. But talk to anyone in Texas and they'll tell you that his play calling was atrocious. Dallas fans are  right now.
