Yeah I was totally wondering why he wasn't competing. He's better than all of those turkeys! But I guess it's a good thing to risk less injuries? I kind of took it like a "Redskins slight" again.........

Look under Fastest Man and The Open Field participants--Brian Moorman is a punter. Is that a typo or a joke by Moorman? Either way, I'd love to see him run the fastest man contest.

I can tell you who else isn't participating in the fasted man contest..A guy by the name if Michael Vick. He has all the right in the world not to wanna be embarassed, along with all of his WANNABE fans, to show that he ISN'T the fastest guy in the NFL. He's good, but too many people have no idea about the guy and yet they still act like he's the best thing since sliced bread. Poor "fans" need to get with the times. Not sure who'd win, but I'd like to see him run agaisnt Santana or Antonio Brown. That'd be fun to watch.

Moss is not even close to being "the fastest man"......

this isn't a cone drill ....it's a 40 yard dash........

this isn't a cone drill ....it's a 40 yard dash........Your crazy, dude! He may not be the fastest but he is DEFINATELY one of the fastest. He ran a 4.37 back in the day. 4.37 isn't good enough to win, but I am willing to bet he is faster than that now.

Mathis will win the fastest man contest with or without Santana in it.

Warhead36
February-11th-2006, 09:31 AM
Moss was a track star, but he may be more football fast than track fast now.

Either way I don't really care. We had Darrell Green dominate that for years, so I guess it's our turn to let the rest of the NFL have players win those Fastest Man contests. ;)

Vick isnt known for his all out speed bud, he's quick like a cat and as agile as a jaguar. My boy has moves on top of moves, you need to check your head.

Your another one of those so called "Vick Fans" aren't you? Of course you are. It's funny that your saying that Vick isn't known for his "all out speed", or so called by you. Well, guess what, you might wanna check YA head because the guy DID run a 4.18 40 at the combines. You being a Vick fan SHOULD know that. Apparently NOT!

Dude, these next bench pressers are cheating. They aren't getting their arms up all the way. Hopefully Larry Allen will win b/c he's the only one who did full reps.

February-11th-2006, 07:04 PM
He should be in that competition. If Moss didn't get injured playing 16 games this year, I don't think he'd get injured running the .40 a couple of times.

Player's volunteer for the competition. The punter just asked if he could be part of the fastest man competition.

Moss just didn't want to, calm down.

Yes, it is a joke. That's what this whole thing is, a joke. No player takes this seriously at all, yet you do.

Why?

The NFL didnt want Santana Moss in either the best hands or the fastest man. Mainly b/c he would of won easily ,and the NFL and ESPN wouldnt of got any tv ratings.

Yeah, he is one powerful dude. That contest was over right then and there.
Not much of an interview though, is he? Not trying to pick on him cause he's a cowboy, but the lights seem a little dim upstairs. That's why he's soo strong, doesn't know his own strength. ;)

Vick is so mediocre. How is he in the Pro Bowl?FINALLY! Someone who ISN'T all over Vick's nuts. I honestly don't ever see that guy getting a ring. While QBing at least. Maybe he should just be a return man. That may help. Well, maybe not...he can't take a hit!

Karlton79

So the NFL selects which players participate in which event? I thought those events were up to the players. In other words I thought it was Moss' decision not to participate.

Generally, we don't know. Either they didn't ask him, or they asked and he chose not to.

He's easily the fastest quarterback in the league. I think he's one of the faster all around players in the league, and he can definitely change direction really well.

I think he's one of the faster all around players in the league, and he can definitely change direction really well. He's actually the fastest ever to play the QB position. I just don't believe he's the fastest in football. One of, but not THE fastest.
