profesional looking jersey alternates

ok so i've seen alot of really bad looking, "hey what about this for an alternate jersey" pictures that look like the've been done by 3 year olds, so i did the same colors a little more profesionally

i know the color schemes may look bad to some people, but i just couldn't look at the crayon drawings anymore! any coments?

The first 1....reminds me too much of Miami and their ORANGE jerseys

The second 1....doesnt have any of our colors in it

The third 1....Not a huge fan of the black jersey movement the NFL has been falling into

First one- looks like a college football jersey and kinda like the jersey campbell has on in my sig.
Second one- black, gold and white dont really look good together
Third one- looks like the old chiefs alternate jersey, but i like it. I wouldnt be mad if the team wore that jersey in a home game sometime in the future.

The first jersey has the Redskin colors, but I just don't see the point in it -- the current jerseys are far better looking.
The second one = the Pittsburgh Redskins
The third one reminds me of something the Browns did before they moved to Baltimore. They came out with a new jersey, but after ordering a teamful of them, they had to scrap them because the numbers weren't visible enough.

The gold one looked pretty good, but we should just stick to what we have. We rarely wear burgundy and the white is classic and shouldn't be tampered with. The only uniform change I would make is for us to go white-on-white during the Holidays.

Although I love our uniforms they way that they are, there is something about number three that is doing a little something something. :doh:

1st: It is a little bright for my taste but not bad
2nd: Absolutely not, if we are going to incorporate something new, it not be all black
3rd: I can live with this but we have change the helmet to match. Also is it possible to make the base color of the jersey a dark burgandy instead of Black. Perhaps adding a gold strip around the numbers and letters so that they show up against the burgandy background.

That's a good point, but since I already own all the ones available (except for the Moss ProBowl, but I'm working on that) I would like to see one used occasionally.
Example: When the Raiders visited the Iggles this year the birds wore a black jersey with green letters and forced the Raiders to wear their whites. That was the only time I ever saw those jerseys (hell they put a picture of that punk McNabb wearing it on the X-Box 360 version of Madden). Anyhow the Raiders looked a little stupid wearing their whites with the Iggles wearing black. I doubt it was an advantage (although the Iggles won) but messing with other teams can be kinda fun.

The best looking jerseys (entire uniform including helmet actually) is the 70th Anniversary jerseys. The darker burgundy and the spear look great. They are by far the best uniforms in the league.

I like the Gold, I am not crazy about the black. All the teams in the NFL it seems like want a black alt. jersey.

I wouldnt mind seeing burgandy on burgandy, I think thats a cool look.
Also one of the main reason I like Washington when I was little I saw pictures of the redskins. The main reason the redskins stuck out was the '59-'64 helmets I thought were cool, and would love to see them go back as a alt. helmet. The helmet was Maroon with feather logo on the top of the helmet.

Thats a good job on them, but the more I see other color jerseys, the more i like our original burgandy colors. If we did switch up, I would rather see black on black or white on white then burgandy on burgandy, the Seahawks just looked too plain when they wore there solid colors in the Playoffs.

Although I did like the switch in that Rams game, gave us a new look and a different looking team down the stretch for those 6 wins in a row. :cheers:

Good job with the jerseys, I know they took some time to create. I like the gold one the most but I think a new design would be great. If there was a design different from our usual jerseys. In all fairness though, I wouldn't mind seeing the gold jerseys. I think they are hot. I'm not a fan of the black jerseys except for teams that actually wear black. Just my opinion, I know some people like the "raider wanna be" jerseys that we have but not I.

Maybe we should just go with the "throwback" gold pants with the burgundy jersey (the original not the 70th anniversary one). What do you'll think?

White on white was magic for us last year. We'd be fools not to rock that during our ENTIRE SUPER BOWL RUN.

That being said, I find all three designs appealing, but #2 looks too much like New Orleans. I think it looks more like their uni than Pittsburgh. One way or another, it looks like both of them, and therefore wouldn't fly.

How about black on pink? I think those are just rad, I'm sure our opponents would pee themselves in fear.
